  1. That shop is full of idiots. Don't ever go back there again! If they even think that that small amount of weight is causing the uneven tire wear, they should not be in the business. Keep in mind, that 99% of all vehicles are over-engineered. Meaning, the vehicle was designed to carry an extra load, such as groceries, anything in the trunk, etc. . . . You can pretty much bet your simple system is not taxing the suspension much atall. Now, one thing that crosses my mind is the load rating on the tires. Could be that you have cheaper tires not designed for the load capacity of your particular vehicle. Now, this is not too common anymore, unless you are trying to put a sport-compact designed tire on a truck or something like that, but it is a possibility. The largest cause of eneven tire wear in the rear of a vehicle is over/underinflation. Add to that fact the tires were rotated from the front, where the wear obviously occurred first and youre asking for increased wear in a shorter time spand.

    I'm the coolest! Don't ask.
  3. Where the EFF is my Blau?
  4. lol i saw that post. what do u expect from ls1pimp... he asked if he would break his rear window lolol I'm not talking about just him. I used to be like that when I first got into it. I think pretty much everyone was, but I have since been educated and stupidity really pisses me off. We try so hard to educate people, for their benefit, yet their ignorance preceeds all that and your efforts fall to futility.
  5. I'm going to start carrying meters and sine waves with me so I can give people a rough estimate of just how much power they may be getting to prove them wrong. If I hear another person say, I'm getting 1200 watts because that's the amp rating, I'm going to punish them.
  6. Now what needs to be done is to post numerous threads of the same topic in every section, such as when you click on the "subwoofers" section, every thread will read, "USE THE SEARCH BUTTON!," or "STFU NOOB!"

  8. Used, I see them anywhere from $225-$350.
  9. 16 cubes is great.. I'd go no less than 4 cubes per driver after displacement with tuning around 30Hz for daily, about 60 square inches of vent area. SPL, I can't tell you.
  10. I like to use some cheap wax. Put it on thick in 3 layers. Nowhere near the mess of a liquid-spray. As for the E-brake, just remove the thing. Chances are with the age of your vehicle, it doesn't work. If/when it breaks, it'll probably be impossible to find parts to fix it without fabbing something up. How often do you use it anyhow?
  11. PM MattB.
  12. 1550 a piece, they should be okay given impedance rise and the fact that they'll probably never see the true 6200 just street beating. Competition is another game where max power and clippiing will come into play. To be safe, I would use half that power, but with all that cone area, you really won;t need a ton of power IMO. Better to be safe than sorry, especially when repairs are concerned and shipping across the ocean is expensive.
  13. That explains it all. I'm 26 BTW.
  14. What gets me is the voltage regulator. I have not seen a alt with an external regulator in years. Stock at least.
  15. It's gotta say 50 Cent or G-Unit across it. Or else it sucks. Mine would say, "Lick My Balls." Or something perverse.
  16. So I got a call yesterday from a school. Talking to this lady, she proceeds to inform me that their provided room and board is $10K a year. Exactly 2 days ago, when I spoke with someone, it was $100 a month. Funny how things change. I can get one hell of an apartment or even rent a nice house for that much.
  17. Nighty Night!
  18. Always have an extra pair of hands around.
  19. You sure on the Z7000? I thought they wre all A/B. If true, that's a great deal, but would still prefer the A/B over it.
  20. I like Marantz. Why is the quote all messed up ? Cuz I'm on my old man's computer and it's a POS with adware too deeply imbedded to remove.
  21. With a current draw of only 138 amps. I only need like 500W from it anyways. IMO, A/B power is the ultimate no matter what. If you can feed it, use it. If you can fit it, use it. If you can cool it, use it.
  22. I like Marantz.

  24. Yo.
