Playing guessing games is just that. No sense in it really. Built it, get it metered, then be prepared to perfect it.
  2. Don't know the specs on that particular amp and their site isn't working at the moment, but if memory serves correct they are around 2500+ @ 1ohm. Might work, might not. I would not use it on the Magnum daily. Frankly, you won't even need that much power. 4-15s with about 800 watts a piece will be plenty loud. I'd go for power output between 2-3000 watts and call it a day.
  3. top gear? that stupid show...? No, but that's what got me on the conversation. My girl's father's brother was in the business. He passed away though. I was told how he bought 2 birds for $13K a piece. He would breed them and sell the babies for about $5K. That's very lucrative! Add to that the fact that the racing garners thousands of dollars in prize money and you have yourself a very good venture with a low initial monetary investment.
  4. Dave, do you actually use that thing? I'm guessing current consumption to be 300+ amps full tilt, little less with music? Just a rough estimate.
  5. Does anyone know anything about racing pigeons? I heard a very intriguing story this weekend.
  6. ??? I haven't had any problems giving stuff away.
  7. I think they are all bipolar. They should be because PE says they are "specially designed for crossovers."
  8. Just curious, but you did get non-polarized caps correct?
  9. Done that once and kept screwing myself up the entire way. I found an article on the old Stryke forum and copied and used that and it helped me to not forget my place. A very good tool, however, the site was lost with all the other valuable info on there.
  10. Yo! I spend way too much time out in the sun. The 100+ degree heat was pretty bad yesterday with ZERO clouds and a blazing sun, but the water park is a great place to be.
  11. Damn, takes me about 2 hours just to wash, and I don't have nearly the surface area you do. Looking good.
  12. Did you trim the driver frame?
  13. Clay, buddy. It melts, buddy Clay is not going to melt in a vehicle. Temperatures exceeding 200*F, I think not. you dont come to Arizona much do you? He doesn't have the extreme heat and direct sunlight where he is now does he? It still won't melt. Uhmm, yes I do. You in Death Valley?
  14. Damn, you must've got some cheap stuff. The stuff I use took a torch like a champ for about 5 minutes. Maybe I should send some your way.
  15. I'd stick with the 3/4 just to be safe. Use 5/8 bare minimum.
  16. Memphis PR, Kicker compVR, L510, RL-i10, ID12 or 10, Quite a few actually with 6" or less. Should give you roughly .5" of pole vent clearance. More than enough for the power.

  18. Steve, check your thread on SIN, I have a simple solution fi the router is up to par. Been there, done that.

  20. Tom, we never got pics of the IMP after the detail.

I think anyone complainging about the prices should not be using them. Clearly they don't truly understand just what they are buying. Even with a $50-$100 increase per amp, I still see them as a bargain.
  22. As Kent suggested they work well. Too bad you couldn't wait. I could send some along with the plexi. I have hundreds lying around along with new barrels. I know a trick for your router as well if it is of the plunge variety, or you can set it fairly deep.
  23. Clay, buddy.
  24. yours? it's pretty entertaining Yep, When did Jmac add that sticky? Thats cool, but will it hold up? last night, as long as i have my powers it's damn well holding up BAH! I will infiltrate your legion of idiots!
