  1. hey!! where'd u get that pic of ryan??? wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee He went to his site www.ethugmustangs.com That pic's about 5 years old. I have since changed vehicles and cut my hair. I'll still down to do some e-dirt though.
  2. MattB is awesome! Send him a PM, he responds quickly. Or better yet an email. Has any/everything you need. Tools, adhesives too. Awesome dude!
  3. I agree with Nick on all accounts. Do NOT get the sludge unless you want it to look like crap. That stuff is SO thick and nearly impossible to get and equal/level look. Just a PITA to me. I just talked to Ant yesterday and the Hazmat is another 2 weeks out. HE told me he was going to ship me the damplifier instead and it would better suit my needs. They are really awesome on the support level.
  4. You'd be best off doing that idea with some FG cloth. It will leave the smoothest surface. Depending on the cloth you use, it could actually be smooth enough to not even have to finish. Let me know if you're really interested, I have this uber-expensive, ultra tight weave that I can send a portion of to you. It's used in Aeronautics and once the resin dries, there's no finish needed. Hell, it'd be best if you could use the cheapest polyester resin available as the cheap ones tend to have a wax inbedded in them that makes the final resin coat ultr-smooth. Bondo brand is this way. It's the only thing local to me, and I hate having to sand that wax off inbetween layers, but in this instance it would be beneficial.
  5. I would have chosen some rocks or something.
  6. Only in theory. Man times I have actually had drivers overlap for best results. That's where the ear comes in with the slopes.
  7. Actually, there is bendable plywood available. Also, I have bent plywood numerous times around frames of odd shapes. It gets tougher with thicknesses, but 3/16" and 1/4" can easily be done. Soak it in water for about a day, then bend and staple, nail, screw around the frame and let it dry. Then you can remove the frame and it should warp from drying to the desired shape. But like you said, time consuming.
  8. You're just going to have to play with it. Best advice I can give. Sometimes the less slope, the better the blend. A lot of variables will come into play, like FR, power, sensitivity, reflections, driver placement. . . . Whatever sounds best to you.

    Puss.
  11. NO AND THEN!
  12. The D2s are exceptional with low power. That's about what I will be running to mine if not less.
  13. You okay Steve?
  14. by the way, how can you be so sure that PA make Octane AMPs while PA amps were made in Korea and PG is in China?... can you clarufy this?.. thanks Read it in Mobile Entertainment when the Octane R series first came out. They did a review on them. They also make a lower end line of the Soundstream amps. Not sure which ones, but I know it is their cheapest, bottom of the line series. That was in the mag as well.
  15. Looking good.
  16. Surprised they still have the rings on.

Um, have you messed with any Fords? Ford cannot engineer any wiring schematics correctly at all. That and they use different sized hardware for everything. Pisses me off. You'll have a 10mm on one side and a 12 on the other. How stupid is that?!
  18. Going active= more and better control. With passives, you are always limited to their potential. Some are very good, I would always recommend that if you have the resources, go active. You'll enjoy the greater control and benefit from the fine tuning and less signal degredation.
  19. Have a good one!

Man, my buddy worked at a GM dealership and told me all these horror stories about the damn Trailblazers. How about cracked blocks with lesss than 1000 miles on them, burnt pistons, oil consumption because the original design placed the piston ring valley way to close to the conrod wristpin, the taillight circuitboard fiasco, I could go on. Now my other buddy bought one and he's put about 200 miles on it for the 2 months he's had it. It's been in the shop for about 1 month straight now and it's still trash. All manufacturers screw things up from time to time, and from what I've heard and witnessed on the TBs, they need to figure their crap out. Hope yours fares well.

    Nice truck.
  22. Went tubing all day Saturday. Beat the hell out of me. I held on upside down getting dragged through the water for about 30 seconds. Couldn't upright the tube and the water was starting to pour in. It was awesome! Saw some A-10 Warthogs flying overheard. They landed at a nearby airfield and we went to investigate. It was so awesome! The pilots let us actually get up close to them. They were cool ass dudes. What sucks, the woman left that camera on the boat. No pics. There was also a rich dude a couple houses down from my buddy's that had his own private chopper and pad. This heli was freaking sweet. Custom paint and it had a small system in it (all JL). It would be so nice to have a ton of money! BAd things: I'm sore as hell. Tubing really beats you up. I'm as red as my car. Should start peeling soon. AND, my car looks like someone dumped a couple yards worth of dirt on it. We need some rain as the dusty roads are getting out of control.
  23. Cut your hair; you'll have far better luck.
