If you heard what I heard, you would too. Although I am kinda odd on my musical tastes, so you may not like what I heard. I am a big fan of an overbearing midbass and these amps really just hit on that. Funny thing is, a lot of people say they have some problems with cone control at lower frequencies. I sure as hell didn't experience this. Matter of fact, the entire design of these amps is patented so something must be working correctly.

Did you cross some wires when installing the HU? Perhaps there's an errant strand touching the dimmer and a hot lead on the radio harness. OR better yet, maybe you have them siwtched on at the headlight switch? Many times I've hit that switch and rotated it to the interior light "on" position and never thought twice.

Steve, I'll GLADLY pay the extra shipping. DO NOT USE FEDEX for international. You'll pay out the a$$ and it's a real hassle with all the extra forms you have to fill out. Been there, done that. Well, small change of plans here. The entire bottom tub is finish glassed, mudded and deadened. I'll post pics later, but I've come to a smalll standstill. The Quarts are going back to Crutchfiedl courtesy of their 30 day moneyback guarantee and something far better will be replacing them. I cannot comment on what as I want it to be a surprise, but I heard one of these amplifiers today as well as a pair of the Mass electrostats and needless to say, I just have to have these amps. They truly do have a warm texture to the sound. That right there should give you a hint. On another note, my processor finally arrived.

You'll have to get a wiring diagram for the HU you have now. I suggest going to www.the12volt.com and do a search for the year and make of the Civic. They should have the wiring color codes. You can proceed from there. I don't know much about imports, but if it has any buss cable connections, be aware as you may not be able to use it as most nowadays are tied into the actual ECM in a lot of vehicles. Good Luck!

If the RE's could handle it, the Claws will. HAve you plotted impedance rise on your enclosure? I have heard that the SXs get nasty loud though and the Magnums were never designed to be SPL oriented drivers.
