Electrical Supplies
Remy Rocks! As for the other stuff, I recenlty bought som supplies from Rick at the Xstatic battery Ebay store. Great prices and lightning fast shipping. Darvex is also super fast. Got my stuff in a couple days and the price was excellent. I always like PE too. They seem to have some great deals at times, and I get everything from there next day.

Welcome to the IHoP
Hey Nick, you know how to remove the pins from the ball and socket steering column on a late 80's RWD GM? I cannot for the life of me figure it out. I see one spring and pin, not another.

ugliest amps...
Don't worry, he can't ban anyone. HE's WEAK! AS for the Soundstream, it's called The Human Reign. That amplifier first came out in about '95 but I don't think it was publicly available. When it finally did make it to production, it was extremely overpriced and way too rare.

my door panels, youve seen the worklog.
May I ask how you are securing the panel to the door? The koda is quiet a bit heavy and vibration is going to be a killer.

Impedance Rise
What a waste of time. I already know this much. You suck! On a serious note, I can't wait for Dave, Mike, or Nick to enlighten us more in the actual EE department. I'd love to get into further deyail on this. One thing I've been wondering is how these newer amps coming out with their ability to produce a continous amount of the same power into any nominal impedance account for the shifts in impedance. I know the JBL/Crown amps are wired differently for different nominal loads, therefore, I'm led to believe they will not work to full potential with shift involved. The JL and PG amps, I just have no clue on.

- jack frost's h/t box..
I don't know the physics behind it, nor do I care to do the research. From what I gather, it's similar to securing an enclosure driectly to your vehicle versus just having it sitting there. It transmits additional energy throughout the room by means of the physical coupleing of the driver/enclosure to the floor. All I know is, I noticed an improvement in impact when I finally added some to my Tempest enclosure. 19 cubes @18 Hz is a HT dream! Although I much rather prefer 4 of them IB!- jack frost's h/t box..
It's simply coupled by the pressure exerted upon the spikes by the weight of the enclosure. There is no attachment to the floor physically. http://www.partsexpress.com/pe/showdetl.cf...tnumber=240-715- Vote for my install 2
Do you get anything for winning these? And is this guy serious? Volfenhag?- gf's future system.....PICS!!
No idea on the Clarion, but I have a couple of those exact Pios sitting right next to me. I have done several enclosures for them for my buddy and they are very impressive for the price. Can get loud with little power and 1.3 cubes sealed provides superior lowend extension. I happen to like these drivers quite a bit. My only grip would be they don't fit the standard 12" mounting hole. I believe they are a little smaller if I remember correctly so you could have some sealing problems if going with a pre-fab. Also, that plastic ring around them is larger than the standard 12". - Subwoofers you have owned...pics... :)
