jack frost's h/t box..
No Kent, the spikes are not attached to the floor. They simply screw into the bottom of the enclosure via T-nuts and have a small coupling device (usually a tiny disc) that goes under the spike.

jack frost's h/t box..
Awesome work, but I'd like to make a recommendation of using spikes instead of those "feet." The coupling from the spikes actually causes quite a benefit in terms of output when coupled to the floor. I was not a believer until I used them.

I do it for my 3.2 I6 cause its a complex motor and it purrrrs very smooth even with 161k on it, honestly you barely know its on when at a stop light Denim, what's the torque rating on that? Inline motors are VERY torquey. That's got to be a fun little bugger.- Welcome to the IHoP

Why is it a waste? Oil gets dirty. QUICKLY! That's the blood of your engine. Keeping it clean is key to longevity and performance. Synthetics are not just for prolonged oil changes. In fact, just until recently they should be changed at regular intervals just as conventional oil.- Post your Ride & Mod list!!!
