Fifth gear right now I'm at 3700@90MPH. And I get 32 mpg on the highway. The 4V is extremely efficient, unlike the OHV motors.

Ha Ha!! More Ford power! I got you in the weight department. Nick, 4:10s. Might bump up to a :56. Gets 23 MPG already on the Highway so I'm not too concerned with the mileage.

Polyfil will help a little. They don't necessarily need a downfiring enclosure. You will have to play around to see what works best in the vehicle.

It's the effects of transfer function in your specific vehicle. Response seems to be altered GREATLY in a smaller space depending upon the direction the drivers are firing. I had to work many different firing arrangements in my pickup before I got the desired response. Take those MTX drivers, if you still have them, and fire them upwards like the IDQs. You'll quickly find they are not as impressive.
