Welcome to the IHoP v.2
Might be able to fix my fridge. I played with it some more last night and found the overload in the starter burned up. I removed everything and retested the compressor and it's checking out good. Going to order the part tomorrow and cross my fingers. Picked up a mini fridge at Menards today for $133 to hold me over. It's 4.5 cubic feet,so not too bad.

Anyone have a Samsung fridge?

It can be fixed, but why put $600 into a 15-year-old fridge? Unfortunately, they're not manufactured like HVAC systems. When they build them, the system's sealed at the factory. you can put a new compressor in and solder in service ports, but it's just not cost-effective.

You're welcome. I emaiked them a couple years ago bitching about my Xplod deck and how they need to reign supreme in the 12V world again. Looks like a good start.

I think Mercury fell out of place in the 80s. They transitioned into the "upscale" Ford. 15 years later, it was Lincoln's turn. No heart or soul; nothing to distinguish them from Ford. Hell, look what they did to Aston and Jag under their control. It's just disgusting.

Lincoln's dead.

Money no issue, I'd pick up a Vanquish on my way to get my F12 and 488. The rest would be from the 50s and 80s with a couple coach builds and a Prius with a nasty blown Merlin sticking out of the hood.

It's snowing like a bitch here. I am so sick of this weather. We get dumped on for two days, then it warms up, melts all the snow, gets hi t and humid (for winter), and the process repeats. I hate the cold, but it's even worse when it's so chaotic like this. My body can't take it.

Shit, the segment I watched on MotorWeek showed a beast. That bitch was glued to the track. Of course the key word there is track. I realize it doesn't translate through to the street, but I drive like an old man anyways, so. . .

My all time favorite engine is the 3.8 DOHC from the D-type Jags. I rode in am E-type with the same engine around Indy when I was little and I just loved it. Most beautiful noise I've ever heard.

Take it to a professional. It shouldn't cost more than $50 and you'll have a guarantee and the experience to have the job done properly.

You still have to clean, and always use Ozone as the last resort. It can harm some leathers and plastics. I'd always try to modify the molecular structure first. Safest and easiest way.

Call a textile cleaning place, like a carpet cleaner. You'll need to clean via hot water extraction and finish with a molecular modifier. If that doesn't work, they'll have to run the ozone machine in there for a few hours.

They're upgrading the forum, so there will be bugs, glitches, and outages for a little while.

Mine's been a total PITA. As soon as we're done with Halo, it's getting sold.
