  1. On another note, I just got word my old man found an 87 Cutlass with a 307 Olds today. HMM!!!
  2. I'll trade you an '89 Cutlass.
  3. I see Denim lurking. Wonder when he'll happen upon the titties.
  4. I still think the Monte would be the best choice budget-wise. That is if it's actually worth the money.
  5. I like the Nissan and the Supra ideas. I love torque, but I'm also down for something I can rev to death. Best of both worlds with my Cobra. Plenty of torque and it revs STRONG up to the 7.2 limiter. Damn Ford. I alos love the 93-95 RX-7 TT. Verey rare and expensive, but great little car none-the-less. Don't forget about the older 300ZX as well. The one before the TT body style.
  6. Along with the amp. My guess. . . . . Cash Money.
  7. YAY! My federal return was accepted! Next week it's
  8. Damn, you guys are slow!
  9. OKay. Beatles are done. Any requests?
  10. What's behind this purchase anyways? What do you want? Just a toy? DD?
  11. I say sell the bike, look for a good T-type or GN. Hard, but can be done on the web. Or put a 383 stroker in the Monte with EFI and a small displacment blower for a good little street bruiser.
  12. Vette: too pricey and old for me. Bimmer: Expensive to fix no matter the year. Monte: I'm a big G-body fan, so that's my vote. Easy, cheap, only problem will be the doors, Rust is COMMON and they are almost impossible to find.
  13. Can't beat that. I paid over $100.
  14. Damn, that's crappy photo.
  15. Supa, I have a nice rabbet. It's multipurpose. YOu can easily change it from 1/4" to 1 1/4". Was pricey though.
  16. For the ignorant, no offense meant! I beleieve the Caprice used a coil pack. Not 100% sure though. They used a different injection system.
  17. LS1 is COP(coil on plug). Or actually, they are not directly on the plug, yet a small coil above the plug. Not a conventional coil pack.
  18. Not cheap either. GM cost is $280. I'd hate to see retail.
  19. Oh wait, Hello MR. Ford. Oh you LIKE to have 13 different bolts on 1 small part. BRILLIANT!
  20. Damn Chevrolets!
  21. Late model F-bodies are a pain too. I'm not much a fan of the Vette's engine bay either, but the topside is much more accessible and accomodating due to the reverse hood.
  22. TPI and LT1s are also common to faulty intake gaskets. If you ever purchase one with a slow leak, fear not. Common problem.
  23. no apology necessary. Just wanted to make sure you were more informed. TPI, should have the standard rear mounted distributor. I think you're on the right track though. Fuel and fuel pressure would be my first suspects.
