I have a buddy that works at a GM dealership and he tells me about all these "common" problems that they all suffer from that GM does not recall for fear of losing money. Stupid automakers. On another note you all will find interesting: The whole scam with the Pinto and the explosive gas tanks, well, Ford knew this before they ever sold 1. They actually had accountants figure the cost of fixing/redesigning vs. potenetial lawsuits and found the lawsuits to be the least expensive of the 3. Makes you wonder. Don't ask where I got that info either. I'll NEVER tell.
