5.8 will require nothing more than a different set of headers and the timing cover off the 5.0L. It's that simple. A little taller deck height will make it sit a little higher and wider, but I've seen many under a stock hood. Weight is going to be the biggest factor. It's like a 1-150lb. gain. Not too bad if you go with a tubular K-member. You looking to just cruise or any racing intentions? Griggs and Maximum Motorsports would be the only suspension piece I would add. They are quite pricey, but after you use the parts, you realize just what a bargain they are. Check out the new MGW shifter if you can. Sweetest piece I've ever seen and you can bet my old Pro 5.0 will go way to one.
  2. Mine sucked so I hope yours is great! My brother's 21st is coming up. Took him to Deja Vu for his 18th and spent over $600 on those whores. It was worth it though. He was grinning from ear to ear for weeks!
  3. I haven't measured anything yet, but it won't be too big. It's gonna go in the trunk of the Cobra and I know you know how little room there is available in there. I'll get started on it tomorrow.
  4. Geek! Mark's avatar rules!
  5. Better late than never huh? YO!!
  6. Okay, my table saw is broken and I am not trusting the old circular saw and straight edge. I need a box that will be 100% square with not a gap or anything. I will be lining it with Plexi mirror and a plexi baffle. I would also like it made out of 1" with 2 strategically placed braces. Who can handle this? I'll provide all dimensions and cut sheet, so no designing will be necessary, neither will a baffle be. Just 5 meticulously cut pieces of wood, unassembled and unfinished, unless it would be easier to ship assembled. Any takers?

corral.net and stangnet.com are the top runners. Mustangworld.com is more or less like CA.com, but there's a lot of useful info there also. Let me know if you need anything. I have been around Mustangs since birth and can tell you pretty much anything you need to know about the late-models. I've owned quite a few also, as well as fox-based Cougars and T-birds.
  8. Just hop on Ebay and pick up a cheapy for about $30 and wait. That's what I always do. Could be the reason I have a ton of drivers sitting here just not getting used.
  9. I have heard a lot of good things about Dom's stuff, but the few bad things I have read would lead me personally to not deal with him. Being as you are so close, this may not be a problem. Biggest problem I have read about is lack of communication. BEing so close, I suppose thi wouldn;t be a problem as it's a matter of taking a drive if something goes wrong. Might as well give it a shot.
  10. Go for the alt first. Wouldn't go less than 150. Make sure you get something with a high "HOT" rating.

    YO!!
  12. Thanks Kent, but to be honest, I am starting to wish my birthday never comes around anymore. They seem to get progressively worse year after year. Oh well. Cheers!
  13. Send this guy an email: [email protected] He can tell you whether or not he has recones available for the Magnums.
  14. Happy birthday to you and ME Wanna trade??? I'd love to be 19 again. A couple more years and you won't even bother taking the time to count what you've had to drink...
  15. Mine so far. . . . Blah.
  16. I could make it work.
  17. Dude! I want one of the little pocket bikes so bad!!!! I'm jealous. I have also lost a tone of respect for you. CATS???!!!! THe laziest creatures in the world that are absolutely worthless!! J/K! I'm severely allergic to cats so I hate them more than anything. GRR.. Nice slippers!!!
  18. Awesome! Make sure you post some photos once you get it installed.
  19. I'll be either in Columbia or right outside in Elgin. Getting things in order right now, so it's all gonna come down to money. Need just a little more time to get all the bills settled, a job lined up down there and some other odds and ends. I can't wait to get away from the damn snow!!! Oh wait. . . . Lovely Midwest winters. It's 60* outside right now and all the snow is gone on DEC.31st. Next week, I guarantee we'll have at least 2" of snow everyday.

YO!! My opinion. . . Don't even bother with the rear fill. The Rainbows are AWESOME!! You'll love them and the fill will not be needed. The SVS subs are very nice I hear. There's a member on SIN running one now and he loves it. No idea on how the SoundSplinters sound, but I'll take Kent's word that they wang and sound great, so you can't beat what you've got equipment-wise. Keep us updated with pics!
  21. April will be the month. Keep checking the classifieds as there will be a gang of awesome equipment up for sale.
  22. Hurry up!! :4123357f3da0f6e125a54:
  23. No, you don't. You may have a few cancellation issues, but that occurrs in every install as the back and front waves are bound to meet somewhere.
  24. Holy crap! Do you perhaps have an alarm. I have seen alarm brains fry and send some spikes and funny voltage through a lot of things.
