  1. Bah, only pu$$ies drive Mustangs! That would make me the world's biggest pu$$y! go with the vented enclosure and don't look back. Is this an SN-95 or a fox-body?
  2. HE's BAAAAAAAAAAAAACCCCCCCKKKKKKKKK!!!!!!!!!!!
  3. hat Switchfoot is pretty good! U2??!! Are you serious? I can't stand the whining. I liked about half, if even of the new LSG. Everyone loved Usher. Beyonce, DC, EMINEM sucks! I swear he just put a bunch of stupid songs together just to prove that most buyers are stupid. They only bought the name. Wasn't there supposed to be a Chronic 3 out this year? Haven't seen that......
  4. 3 cubes will be awesome! Just watch that gain knob.

It's funny people mention gas milage. I drive a Cobra and people ask me about milage. Who cares! I didn't buy this car to worry about gas. I highly doubt anyone who could afford this car will have a problem with that either. It's nice to get good mileage, but not a priority for this type of vehicle.
  6. Oh yeah, there's a guy on Caraudio.com selling some Aura 6.5s too. This set sounds awesome! Neo motor too!
  7. You can find the lower lines of Rainbow for under $250. Look on Ebay and Here.
  8. That was my only reason for buying them. I honestly wasn't sure if they were worth $500 or not, but I just got them that morning and had an offer for $500 an hour later. So they had to go. I had no intentions of keeping them or using them anyways. It was all going to be for pure profit. Made a killing too! Went out and spent some of it today on Christmas presents. Also reserved GT4 for the PS2.

  10. A bunch of throw I will never use. Small displacement woofers are ideal for me.
  11. I've had several of these drivers in several sizes and haved loved them all (only cuz I got them cheap ), but I have an opportunity to snag 3 of the 12W6s for virtually no money. Does anyone here still consider these to be worth any value? I have no real use for them yet, so it would be nothing more than a quick turn-around investment. With all the new drivers out there though, I'm wondering if it's even worthwhile. The 3 I'm getting are of the first gen, but they are all unused and still boxed. I'm getting them from dealer who had them in the back of his warehouse for years and never knew they were there. He did some housecleaning last week, and guess what appeared. Opinions?
  12. He LOVES it! HE wants to add another, even though he complains how much his ears hurt. I really find it unbearable in the car with any decent amount of volume. I'm also amazed that this thing actually goes low as hell in this tiny enclosure. I was sure it would have some problems on the lower octave, but not so. Everyone who has listened to this car around here is always asking me about SI. It's growing.
  13. Tempest will not be too much. Might as well go big now and control the output with power. You can always add more power later to get more output.
  14. As for numbers, no idea. Here's a photo of my buddy's Z. Now this is only one MAG 15 in a 2.3 cube box. IT's loud. I have another friend who is hitting 144s in a GrandAm with three 10" MTX 8000s and this is louder by ear. Mic, no idea, but by ear, the camaro wins. As for the glassing being permanent, it doesn't have to be that way. This install is removable in under 10 minutes and has no effect on the resale value. Nothing had to be cut or anything. Just a mold, and everything is plug-and-play. What year Camaro do you have?
  15. 2.3 cubes sealed and 1.2KW= OUCH!!! At least for me.

I'll say 20-25 MPG on the highway.
  17. I put the SI logo on my Kodas! I rock more!
  18. Just that one 15 in a hatch off that power will rock you even sealed. Vented is insane, but Clarke's right on with the suggestion.
  19. Depending on exactly how you want to build the well will determine how much space you have. I built 2 enclosures for a '95 Z so far and the most I was able to get was 3.6 cubes using .75" MDF. Now this is just building up from the bottom to level out where the stock panel covers the well, but you could use part of the floor over the gastank and gain quite a bit more. My buddy is currently running a 15" Magnum in this car with a MMATS D200HC on it and it's quite unbearable. Two 12s sealed will be more than you'll need. I wouldn't even bother with the vented enclosure. If you want to use glass, you're options are pretty much limitless. That's what I used on the last enclosure, and if you check out one of the other sections, you can see a SWEET ASS box that XTRmeasures made for his eDuh subs.

And of course it's Powered By Ford! Pretty car! Must not weigh chit.
  21. 1. Guess I'm not in the know, but I have seen Clarke's metallic "dong." 2. No prob! 3. I have fealt the same way since, Oh, forever. Guess we'll all have to use the spaces from now on. 4. B I T C H AH!!!!!!!!!!!

You seem to have inherited my mad router skills! Nice work, yet I think you need some bracing.
