Also better than everything on the list by MILESThat car is the best value in luxury and performance out there on the used market IMHO.Room, 300hp, reliable and cheep to fix(compared to German and all its turbo competition), looks good, and AWD. I don't know much about Lexus, but I could also recommend most of those as an option and feel safe. Maybe they aren't exciting, but the G37 will have miles more room than anything in the SUV category you are looking at. Lexus resale is too ridiculous! I've been looking for 04 Ls430s for tge past two years and all I come across below $20K have 100K miles.

And contrary to what Sean posted, the Escape will EASILY get you 25+ highway. I do 21-23 in the city and 30s highway FWD with the 3L, so the ecoboost in the new one should get you there no problem.

I'd throw the year out the window. Instead focus on what you need.As for your 25mpg, none of your choices reach that. Keeping dreaming if you think you will in a non-diesel sport ute. The CRV is a POS, the RAV4 a boring dyke car, the Escape REALLY overpriced (not sure how you found a new body style for $20k, we priced one out above 40 new), and the Sante Fe is the best buy in that bunch. I haven't driven a new Escape, but have mine is a 2011 limited loaded with everything but AWD. I hate it. I only bought it for the equity. Paid $9K for it, selling it for 14. They do hold resell fairly well, but I can't see why. Mine at a dealer right now would be $18K! That's absurd! I can't speak on the 13+,but if you're finding them that cheap, I'd stay away.

Gavin and I just spent the last hour pulling tree stumps with the white Town Car. I still have to find a way to trim around the power lines. And seriously, your daughter is just gorgeous. I couldn't deal with that.

I think the closest you will get is stainless. There is simply no need for a hardened nipple; it would be structural and there is no need for that. I would find some tool steel and get it machined.

Dependson the plastic. Polyethylene, nothing will work. A hard nylon, or ABS and you'll be okay. Ironically, I have some potting epoxy and used it on the Camry rad tank before I sold it. Held for the last few weeks I drove it.

As Seth stated, the only bad part is the cleanout. You'll be knocked out and won't have any after-effects from the procedure. You'll actually feel better just from the cleanse.

Found a 97 SHO for $250. Supposedly runs like a champ and I've always wanted to swap one of those V8s into something.

So, I was changing rims and ttires the other day, found a blown axle seal on the pass side. I get the rotor off and discover my parking brake shoes are gone, so I get seals and brake shoes, start pulling th e rear apart to pull axles and find a chipped spider gear. Get the axles out, start pulling the seals and find a bad bearing on the pass side, so a simple tire change turned into a complete rear end rebuild.
