  1. by chance did you double look at the belt to insure that its the same levels for all the pulleys. I just had my astro have almost this same issue and the a/c delete pulley was not sitting right and causing the belt to make noise and cause it to not charge in random spots and then lined that all up and boom no more noise and worked great. Im just throwing out a suggestion hope its that easy for ya.

  7. Ok Well the guys i sold my van to can no longer afford the payments that were agreed upon so it was time to take back what was mine! With that being said this will no longer even see the street stock class. Right to SS NW I will be running 3 300 amp Singer alternators. Sub Stage will be 4 18" icons Amps unknown but may just keep my soundstream 4 channel and 2 channel. as for the mono im still in the air. Door speakers i have no idea as of yet!
  8. i check everyday to see if there is any sign of distress as soon as I see any it will come out. I appreciate the concern.
  9. Thought you were taking your time with this build? haha Right lol one more month with about bass is going to drive me crazy!!!!!!!!!!!!
  10. ive had no problems with the battery so far. I also check the temp on it peroidically to see if it feels to hot. I need something quick and for the price I got it for I can beat it. I plan on running several in the long run which if you ever followed my builds theres no such thing as long run. lol
  11. Here we are peoples. The build some of you are waiting for.................. This will be a three phase style build. I will be competing Street Stock at first, then I will switch up to SS NW, the SS 3-4 for the DBdrag sanction. We have here a 2003 Yukon XL that has been Deemed(by me) the SSA YUKONVICT. ^^^^^^^^^ LAST SEASON New Season - New Truck Gotta get them Stock boys off there Much better but needs new tires Those are for the Winter Stock tires the Deuces will get them over winter for summer Much better than Stock radio with the tape player Holy intake Batman Gotta have the Juice! But what about the Alternator to charge it That needs to be cleaned up but thats enough for now lets go have fun!

  14. excuse me sir there seems to be a wind monster trying to rape that female in ur truck
  15. with you having to do a bracket for dual alts anyway why not go with Singer Alternators? you can get 350 amp or even the 400 amp then he can externally regulate them for you and you can have the one solid charging unit. from a company that offers and HONORS the lifetime warranty. But with that being said and that should be more than enough but how come you are going with the 2700's? are you trying to burp or just ground and pound? The XP line is great.......
  16. Great, you don't need it. Great, then you haven't already wasted money on it. Don't. No problem, it wouldn't help you anyways. What? You set the output of the amplifier to 2V? They were telling you to set the input sensitivity to the 2V setting....not that that info is necessarily "correct" anyways. You would set it based on Ohms Law, if you were using the DMM method....which isn't necessary. But even then if you are using a 0db test tone you will end up unhappy with the results, more than likely. Best to just set it by ear. Neither, set it by ear. If you absolutely feel you must use a DMM to set the gain, then you would set it according to Ohms Law... sqrt(Power*Impedance) = Voltage But, see above. 200, or leave the DMM in the toolbox and set it by ear. All this plus setting it by EAR!
