I still don't have my truck back yet from getting fixed, so no build pics yet, So i decided to take some pics of the subs. The subs have the old Lightning Audio/ Rockford Fosgate motors I believe the 3HP. (STORM Series) They currently have 3x stacked 8 inch spiders, I am going to recone these back to all black cones and 10 inch spiders. I plan on starting this build by tuesday since i have a show on the 21st of this month.

This Is my 2006 Buick Rendezvous CXL. This will be my 3rd rebuild and final build of this year for M.E.C.A finals. I currently have the state record in Arizona in street 4 (SPL) Vehicle breakdown: Pioneer Avh-6800DVD DC Power 270 xp alt. XS Power D3400 in front , 1 D3100 in the rear (ordering 1 more) 2 runs of 1/0 2 RF T3000.1BDs 2 or 3 Hybrid 18s - not sure yet (built by robot underground) 1 RF (modded) 200a4 (mids and highs) Infinity kappa 6 1/2 in the rear doors, haven't decided on front stage yet. What kind of subs are you using? I don't see 4 15s ported working in 10 cuft. I ran 4 15' sealed and it was 12 cuft.

Great score for a single sub setup.

So this is the scores from my last show. S4 is at the headrest and DB4 is 6ft from the vehicle. I picked up another matching 18 that needs to be recone... well they all need to be reconed, someone painted the 2 red ones i have.

i would like to get a demo of this if you go to the meca show at UTI next weekend.

A lil vid i took when i got the new batteries.

So I have gotten new batteries and tore the show setup out and threw in a temp setup with 2 TC Sounds hybrid 18's built by robot underground here in AZ. I ended up building the box way too small but it sounds ok. I ran it at a meca event and jumped my SPL score up a bit (check sig), haven't gotten to do a OFFICIAL park & pound yet, i will this next weekend tho. I'm peaking at 48hz and there is pretty much NO LOWS, so i will be rebuilding here again. I'm not sure on what i'm gonna do next I got a few ideas, just not too sure on how money is gonna be considering my girl needs a car now... here's a few pics of the temp. setup...

Thanks guys i appreciate the comments. I just picked up a new H/U it's a Pioneer AVH-6800DVD. i should have a video of it installed on tuesday and a temp. system will be in by the end of next week for the M.E.C.A event on the 29th. I'll do my best to keep this build log up to date.

The amp is a Rockford Fosgate T30001BD There is two boxes of dynamat extreme so far. I have a DC POWER 270xp alt. Box was made from 1 Inch MDF I didn't build this, a good friend of mine did in his backyard. ENJOY... Tuffguy40 came by and got a good video of my truck in action.

thanks, no complaints about my alt. it does everything i've expected it to do. Now if i could only fit another one in there.... i had been running those batts for a little under a year now. I know optimas are great batteries. Most of my friends won't use anything but optimas. i know the yellow tops and blue tops are good if you bump with the key off. I think i just had always bought refurbished optimas without knowing. i've never had a optima stay good longer than a year.

damn i just busted a nuttttttttttttttttttttttttt!!!!!!!! wish that would fit on my buick.

look up tuffguy40 on youtube he runs 4 18's xcons. So far he's been the loudest at all the M.E.C.A show here in az this year.

it really depends on what you are looking to get out of it. sealed is more tight accurate bass and ported you get the deeper lower hitting bass.

What kind of vehicle? Where in az do you stay?
