  1. Well, probably quite a bit louder, but it will also sound a lot better. Just remember not to rush it, take your time and do everything the right way the first time around to save you future troubles. Good luck on the install and don't forget to post it in the build logs! No doubt man, I will post in the build logs. And I'm sorry for asking soo many questions but I want to get this done right.. So, In my integra which is a hatchback, what type of box should I build? I was thinking Sub facing up and a back port?
  2. I have another question for all of you bass heads. I'm kinda curious as to how much of an upgrade this will be from my last system. I had a Memphis M3 15 (( NOT the mojo )) a crossfire vr602 powering it and a prefab box tuned somewhere around 40. The new setup will of course be my sundown 1200d A Fi SSD 15 and a Custom made box tuned to 33 just for the sub.. Im just trying to get an idea of how much louder it will be. LOL i'm getting so impatient to get everything in and installed
  3. Where should I go to buy the wood and supplies? (Like where will have the best prices) also will you tell me how much supplies to buy. IE how much wood what kind/how many screws what kind of glue and how much ect...
  4. WOOT I can't wait!!! I got both my Fi SSd 15 and my Sundown 1200d ordered. Now all I need to do is build the box and I'll be ready to thump again!!
  5. That enclosure will not work, I was just looking at the build sheet, and it's 35" wide.. I Have 31" wide MAX to work with. Nothing over 31" wide will work
  6. OK thanks.. Just to make sure though, http://www.db-r.com is legit right? can anyone vouch for them?
  7. I already ordered the sub though, I ordered the dual 2 ohm. that will still be ok on that amp right? and how would i wire it
  8. k, and also I won some good money playing poker last night, so I'm going to buy a SAE-1200Dv2 :-)
  9. Well I'm not wanting to go too extreme in this car.. I will have later plans for a spl vehicle. I will measure how much space i have keeping back seats and spare tire. brb with measurements Without going all fancy and measuring for a fancy box that would fit perfect over my wheel wells and such, Here is what I have to work with 19 3/4" Tall X 34" Deep X 31" Wide
  10. Well take some pictures and dimensions tomorrow and post back Well I'm not wanting to go too extreme in this car.. I will have later plans for a spl vehicle. I will measure how much space i have keeping back seats and spare tire. brb with measurements

  12. Ok thanks a million guys.. last but not least can somone post a diagram that i can print off for an ideal enclosure to build?
  13. Thank you, this is what i was talking about as to is was wired weird
  14. Are you planning on getting another driver in the future? Is the crossfire vr602 a temp amp or permanent amp? Is the crossfire amp 1ohm or 2ohm stable? If your getting a newer amp, is it 1ohm or 2ohm stable? And what do you mean by "wire this" How do you connect the driver to the amp? the vr602 is a temp. amp and not sure what it's stability is. in the future i plan to get a sundown 1200d,, and as for the wiring, the last time a bought a sub (memphis m3 15) the car audio shop had it wired weird since it was a dvc
  15. This will just be a temporary setup until i build a new box and get a new amp. I just want to make sure it will be safe for the sub until then
  16. Yep. Just turn your ssf up to around 38hz on your amplifier. Ok last 3 questions. #1 What ohm should I get on the ssd 15 dual 1 or Dual 2 #2 on the vr 602 how can i tell where 38 hz is? #3 How will i wire this when i get the sub in?
  17. the port wall pretty much just goes back and ends 13 1/8" deep inside the box. Then your enclosure is tuned around 41hz, which isn't surprising for a prefab... That will still be ok for now for the ssd 15 correct?
  18. the port wall pretty much just goes back and ends 13 1/8" deep inside the box.
  19. Have you all figured out what it is tuned to?
  20. Inside the box, the port measures: 13 1/4" deep and is the height of the box You can see what i Mean by the port is the height of the box by this picture
