That's the new US Acoustics Barbara Ann. We are the online dealer for US Acoustics. The alternator? 300 amp mechman,
  2. English dude! I am pretty confident that my question is in coherent english... I am room the Kalamazoo area. Just saying hello fellow Michigander.
  3. What version of windows are you using?
  4. But then can I turn the volume up from there? As M5 said, you want to have your gains set with balance and fade zeroed out. Say with song X you can turn your volume knob to 23 before audible distortion sets in. Then you fade to rear a little bit to get a heavier low end sound to the song. If you are already at 23 volume and you turn it up louder then your sub stage will more than likely be over driven since it never got cut back like the front did. I got it now. It's just that every cd or usb port music is different.
  5. I will be running a 10" gcon with sony comp speakers for the front stage. So you are saying if the gains are set with zero fade I should be okay? Or do you mean set the gains in the fader position I will be using?
  6. But then can I turn the volume up from there?
  7. Is it ok to enhance the bass by using the fader control? I am running the front stage off of Channels 1 & 2, the sub of of 3 & 4.
  8. Yes it is. It's a Group 31 battery. One of the cheapest I could find. They use it a lot, locally, for the boats. The Optimas were so expensive, I did not want to get one. There were no XS available at the time I was ready to buy a battery. Now I can find a few, but they are so expensive, it's not an option for me. So far, I have no problem with this one. ;-) ;-) I just questioned it because it looked like it had plugs you could pull out to check the acid level.
  9. Is that a agm battery?
  10. I would go to a smaller amp and a sub that doesn't need as much rms. like a dcon. If you won't upgrade the electrical then down grade the amp and sub. I know you said you will be getting a new car within a year. Are you willing to upgrade it? Do it right the first time and say yourself all the headaches !
  11. good ole DEXCool Dexcrap is horrible coolant, no doubt. Kept the system clean but ate up the gaskets.

  19. Thank you for your input. I am going to give the Pioneers a try.
  20. But won't I need a crossover?Yes they would plus i forgot you're channels 3&4 are occupied with the substage. But for future reference mini dsp's are inexpensive compared to processors/active capapble headunits and can make running active a breeze from my understanding. Just need a laptop to set up. If you one day wanted to go the raw drivers route. Depends how much money I will have to play with as I near retirement age.
  21. Thank you for your input.
  22. I just want some passive comps. I don't want to spend much over 100 for the pair. I do have a sub running off of channels 3 & 4 a 10" gcon. Classic rock.
