It was running fine and I had to idle down to get off the tractor to open a gate. When I throttled back up and engaged the pto that's when it started happening. I have a carb kit coming and will pull it apart all the way and make sure everything it working freely. It appears that the spring has broken or lost all its tension. It looks like I need a new carb because you can't take it apart. Does the choke move freely, does it bind at any point? I had to get a new carb because the spring was broke and you can't just buy the spring.

Why is it that alcohol is a drug you don't need a prescription for? Plus how much cost does it add to the health care system.

The plug was black like it was running way rich. I have a carb kit coming with gaskets because the old ones are in pretty bad shape.

comp set? is that the lil 1'' tweeters with 6.5? You are correct. Short for component speakers

Under load it blows black smoke out like it is running rich. What engine is in it? And have you tried adjusting the jet? 16 hp Kohler and I have tried cleaning it with carb spray cleaner.

No but my buddy has one with a huge hole blown in the block. He may part it out instead of fixing if your interested How much does he want for the carb?

Nice and flat, everything I throw at em sounds so musical. I have one 10" gcon running on 400 wrms.I'm actually starting to consider some SSA's instead of the mag v3's, my neighbor is having me build a box for his icon in a few weeks, can't wait to hear one in person finally. The Icon is a great sub. It will sound great in the right box.

Thank you so much. I have been going through cheapies every 2 years. Great input. Dude, I got so tired of wasting my money and time. I would get irritated when they would get hard to start. I generally got a year out of a $100 "Weedeater" or Craftsman weed eater, then I would throw the fucker in the burn pile. 3 weeks ago my eater died. I figure I have been a homeowner for over 20 years, so I have spent roughly 2K on crap weedeaters. Why not buy one that will likely outlast me? I just hope this survives the test of time. Plus I got the bonus of the pole saw, brush cutter, and a lot of other great attachments like a killer blower, lawn scythe, edger, cultivator... and like 14 other attachments. It's really a cool tool. Bumping this because I am back into the serious looking of this same equipment. Any update on your set up? Not sure if I really want to drop the change for the KM90 That 10 to 15% gasohol doesn't help either!
