I would do just the opposite.Set the gains by ear. A dmm just gets you close. Not much better then a smd dd-1.

FYI don't get a .223 if you want to deer hunt up north. It is illegal to use that size round for deer hunting in Michigan.I told you already Im not using the .223 to hunt deer since I don't think it's as powerful enough to actually get a drop. I have my shotgun I use for deer hunting. I guess the AR would be more of a fun gun more for range shooting and the varmints/small game. Great gun for coyotes to.Yea definitely. You can't wire a d1 to one ohm unless you have two. your choices are .5 or 2 ohms. And I wouldn't do .5 ohms for a daily driver.
