  1. The safe way would be in a wooden crate. You willing to pay that much for shipping? When its the way fedex handles the packages!
  2. How bad was the box damaged from the outside?
  3. Most people don't use fedex boxes to ship with them. Their boxes are no better then anybody else.
  4. If everything is set right you should not have to use the bass boost or your head unit to increase the bass. Your dimming problem needs to be found. A dmm is required for this.
  5. I would stay with what you have. That's just my opinion.
  6. Caps. are useless to keep the voltage up. Even a second battery wont help much if that was taken at the amp.
  7. Voltage readings would be nice to have.
  8. I agree, with all the confusion that was going on a Fi the last few months, I never really got anymore information other that it is designed for IB use. Any sub can be used IB. I wonder if this is just a stock sub that you were told is ok to use IB (even though they all can be, some with MUCH better results than others). Read his first post it is a custom built IB gcon.

The subs should be as far away from the port as possible.

No 1 port for the whole chamber. The port for each sub x2 for your common port.
  11. Buy a dmm and check the voltage at the amp to see what its doing.
  12. Boom box. LOL http://www.walmart.com/ip/Sony-MHC-EC709iP-Mini-Hi-Fi-Shelf-System-for-iPod-and-iPhone/20658896?findingMethod=rr
  13. Double post my bad.
  14. Happy Birthday!
  15. Happy Birthday!
  16. Do you have the big three done? I do have the big three done, and my battery stock in trunk is a crappy stock one. I'm trying to figure out what should i get as a pair. I would say if a d3400 fits in the oem spot just add another one.
  17. I think one d3400 would be plenty If you have a good bat. under the hood.
  18. You can go wrong with a SSA xcon!
  19. Get a bigger fuse back buy the battery because it something shorts out that wiring could catch on fire!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  20. i run a icon on about 400 watts in my g/fs car. very nice I agree you don't have to give them rated power to get great sound. That goes for all subs in general.
  21. I used a aq2200d to power two fully loaded Fi SSD 15" subs. I could run it full volume for hours at a time and it never got more then warm to the touch. Also I was able to hit a 148.8 on a term lab meter. Give them good electrical and they will run for years to come.
  22. Try going from the positive at the amp right to the rem and see if that turns it on. And stays on then you might have low voltage. Buy a dmm to test your voltages.
