Yeah your probably right. I haven't checked the speaker wire on the sub, if some were loose could that be why its clipping?

When I turn it up the amp shuts off and I have to turn it down and then it comes back on. Check your grounds. I already have my ground is fine Alright well until you get a dmm and post back your voltage drop at full tilt, we can't really help that much alright

No I'mnot sure and I haven't done the big 3 yet but will be hopefully soon

I have a 12" bl with a kicker zx1000.1 and an optima red top for a battery and even with the gain only half way up I am getting headlight dimming and my amp is clipping. I have a friend with the same amp and the 15" bl and his doesn't clip and he has a weaker battery so I have no idea why mine keeps clipping.
