same frequency of the cutoff for the infrasonic filter or the helmholtz resonance of the box? i'm guessing you mean the filter.....the 12 db rolloffs combine? interesting if thats what you mean....didn't know that.

hrm....sucks...got the same setup as him..i was told it should be fine considering i'm tuned 4 Hz above the cuttoff. and yea, i do think its bullshit that i pay a little less than a grand for this amp and it has a switched infrasonic. herp derp.

Interesting....still learning about the Thiele Small parameters....could I bother you to ask what the upper cutoff of a 12" BTL N2 is? I'm keeping my LPF at 80 Hz for now until I get some additional, beefier midbass drivers, just don't want to hurt the woofer in the process.

concerning the generic box build pinups for the 12" BTLs, what happens to be the upper cutoff for that enclosure?

The box you have mentioned in your post I have already built, sealed, sanded. Used the exact specs off of the aforementioned cutsheet, other than the 1/8th lip on the front top/bottom front to make wrapping a little easier for me.

I ordered 2ea Loaded BL15's with the 4" voice Coils on 12/2/2010 and 12 days later there's no sign of them even shipping out yet... ????? Anything Holding up the 4" BL15's from being produced? They've been backed up to hell dude. You're not the only one that has to wait to have a sub custom built for you in-house. I ordered my sub circa november 13th and didn't get it until yesterday, yet I have to say it was certainly worth the wait. Have some patience, Scott and Nick will get it out to you.

Well my issue here is a i just picked up a fi btl n2 (came in today) and i'm going to start building the box for it soon. i recently found out to quite a bit of dissapointment, that my rockford fosgate t2500-1bdCP doesn't have a variable subsonic filter, but rather a cheesy switched one. I know i need to tune my amp 2-3 hertz below my enclsoures PTF, but what if my enclosure ends up being out of range or the amplifiers tuning controls? Crossover Controls Low-Pass (LP): 35Hz-250Hz @ 24dB/octave Butterworth Infrasonic: 12dB/octave Butterworth, -3dB @ 28Hz any insight guys?

do these designs apply to the new fi btl n2 as well? just wondering....

Nick, tried emailing a couple times, but haven't gotten a response yet so i figured i'd try here. Scott called me to update me on the delays etc of shipment, so i took that opportunity to change my shipping address....he said my sub would ship out last thurs, but the tracking number for the shipment to the OLD address hasn't updated, so i figure that tracking number is useless now and i'd like to have the new tracking information if there is one.
