I would like to start using my phone with my deck as I have spotify and it works really well and I get unlimited music for $10 a month. I have been using an iPod Touch since the interface is so nice on the deck. It really is too bad there aren't any Android compatible DVD decks as I am not a fan of apple at all. So...what do you guys think is the best way to hookup my android phone to get the best possible sound quality? To be honest I will most likely stick with using my iPod, but eventually I would like to get away from that for future use.

I am not sure how big the regular cabs are in that year of F-150, but I have an 07 F-150 regular cab and I have the tiny little doors that open up in the back...and I had room to do an XCON 15 ported...3.5 cube box too...my box builder did a ridiculously good job and everyone else said they couldn't do it

Thanks for all the responses guys, I am looking at probably a Pioneer doubled in, maybe Alpine or Kenwood too...like I said though it may be a few months till we actually begin the audio stuff...just was wanting some good feedback for a deck and speakers...as far as speakers and amp I may go with what StreetLegal recommended or maybe the ID CTX speakers and i4500 amp - that is when we get to this stage after we buy the headunit

Alright well I will have to talk to her see if she wants to do a singled in or doubled in...her car is weird its like the new cars where it looks like everything is integrated so I don't know if it would be a complete PITA to do a deck or not...I will look this afternoon

Hmm..really? Most people have told me speakers first...but alright....any headunits you recommend for 200-300 bucks? I will say doing a headunit first might take a while as I think I would prefer to put a nice touch screen deck in her car..mine was $430 which she definitely doesn't have that to spend....so might need to wait a couple more months before we even get into audio if we go with head unit first...the AVH-P4400 from Pioneer would be around $450 after dash kit, bypass, and iPod cable
