yea i will go ahead and get that amp then. I have an 07 F150 4.2L, I have no idea what my alt is right now....

thats what im thinking...i mean if I REALLY need to I can get the sundown but I'm going to have to ask help from my parents and I would rather not do that...but I don't wanna buy HiFonics if it is junk...also what would you recommended me buy as far as electrical (alternator, battery, etc)? and should I just go with HiFonics or something else?

Well I was planning on getting the Sundown 2500 until it went to 815 dollars, there is no way I have the money for that, I can dish out maybe 600 tops...was looking at the HiFonics Brutus 2400, but I dont know if they are good or not, everywhere I have looked they have positive feedback...any suggestions??

I got the two ICONS in today, man there beautiful haha, mark took some pictures so I am sure they will be on the rides section of the site soon...white f150...now i just need to get the sundown 2500 amp...only have an alpine right now that isnt 1 ohm stable =((, haha i cant wait to see how they really sound

I talked to Mark the other day and he had two of his own personal ICONS, said he would sell them to me, so i might call today and see if there still available

Talk to 'dvalue' if you are entertaining the idea of ICON 10's ported, he has a pair now. thanks again to everyone who responded, tomorrow will probably be the day i decide...hopefully anyways, i have a feeling i might just get those two 12's nd drop them in my sealed box...but if Im convinced when I talk to my friend tomorrow I might do 10s ported

yea i thought about that...would two 10s ported be louder than two 12s sealed?? also can you get 10s to hit the lows well??

I have the option of buying marks personal icon 12's, last ones available...i wish i could port the 12's but dont have the airspace. hmmm...

yea most seem to be, im just worried the one 12 ported wont be nearly as loud as two 12's sealed....I wouldnt wanna be dissapointed, and like I said its nice because I can just drop those 12's straight into the box I already have, but if the ported is worth it I could always have a new box built.

mostly rap....haha yea its a tough decision...the only downside to ported is I would have to a get new box made...but keep the suggestions coming

yea i know...its soo tough, but i bet those two icons sealed with 2000 watts would sound amazing, i mean even at 1000 watts nd those crappy JLW3's it sounds solid...haha yea easy lifeee

F150 regular cab. I actually met Mark today nd he took a look at my car and I also talked to one of the box builders...Mark was kind of leaning towards the two twelves sealed and the box guy and my friend were leaning more towards the ported 12...so its tough to say and I am sure its hard to really say which will be louder...haha toughest decision of my life

alright, thanks for your input. its nice too because I have a 2.4 CF box right now with JL12w3s nd I could drop the two ICONS right in without having to make a new box, but if people seem to really think the one ported xcon would be better, I could do that as well

what else do you need me to give you

Ok, so assuming I had 2,000 or 2500 watts (1ohm) and a 2.4 CF box 1 12 Xcon Ported or 2 12 Icons Sealed?? Which would be louder? If you need anymore info let me know
