  1. It may be.. But I've been using it for a year now and I honestly love it. For less than $1 a foot I can live with it being "undersized" just as much as many other cheaper wires are.
  2. Oooo! I know... but I'm not telling!
  3. I'm thinking a generator and some big fans will help.. Haha
  4. In before the lock. I use the Bullz Audio 1/0. Honestly I really like it. It's $50 for 50ft on eBay. It's really not quite 1/0, but it's always done good for me. Because of the price you could run 2 runs for cheaper than 1 run of higher priced wire.
  5. ^^Holy hell that's sick!
  6. ..... Video?!
  7. Today is a GREAT day. (The Crunch isn't for the Accord, BTW)
  8. Stuff is starting to come in here and there... MORE POWER!!!
  9. Baton Rouge has a lot of big plants... They always need specialized workers. Pharmacists piss me off! HA!
  10. I start at ITI in Baton Rouge in September for Instrumentation and they show proof of 99% of graduates getting jobs immediately after graduation.. Seems to me like where you live may not have jobs in that field... not everywhere though. Would moving be too drastic for you/your brother? What all jobs are associated with the degree?
  11. Too big and expensive for my rear deck..
  12. I need some 8s for my rear deck... HMM
  13. Hey Swagg. I found the subs, I still want a video though! Link: http://cgi.ebay.com/New-Acoustic-Audio-AA8A-600-Watt-Pair-8-Car-Subwoofers-/380341103548?pt=Car_Subwoofers_Enclosures&hash=item588e18abbc
  14. Video? Link to the subs?
  15. I'll see if I can make it down there!
  16. Yeah I've done a few comps with my old ride.. never was in it for SQ though. The Accord should have good SPL and SQ... Where is the one in Bossier City?
  17. I'd go black. It would look more sleek IMO. If you can't find black ones you could always just spray them with some rustoleum or something
  18. Looking pretty good man. Can't say that I've seen a separate chamber for the equipment. You should do some 12v fans to keep it cool in there.
  19. Damn bro, sorry to hear you won't be competing. Wish you could make it to check it out. It won't be anything crazy loud but I'm shooting for a 145. We have atleast one other vehicle competing (2 Treo SSX 18's). I may try to head to Jackson for that. Just depends on work and money. I just happened to come across the jobs to finish up the Accord.... Luckily because I just stripped my Tahoe. I went with 2.0625" ports. That way I can dew 4-5 of them (ordered 5 to be safe) to get some air flowing.
  20. What diameter aeroports would you guys use? I've ALWAYS build slot port boxes.
  21. You got it boss! Will you be at Scrapin' The Coast?
  22. Yep! I'm a CB7 lover for sure. Mine will be red again after paint... which is drying right now.. and the rims will be satin black with a red lip!
  23. I use Google Sketchup. There's a free version that works enough for what most people need. Just takes a while to get used to.
  24. No cutting for me. I plan on running the meter here and there. Plus this is getting an engine swap, etc once I finish the stereo so I need all the body strength I can get
  25. The build before my Tahoe was a Hyundai Tiburon with 2 10s subs back, port back and I did a 143.9 on 1k power. The trunk in the Accord is HUGE honestly, but getting the box in once it's build would be nearly impossible. I CAN fit all the subs facing up now that I've measured but I would have to do Aero ports at the bottom of the box facing the trunk. I'd like to design a box that I can build outside of the car..
