I would say, make it necessary. I could not imagin running my 8ks with out triple inputs. It creates a fire hazard and is dangerous to the amp.

They don't like to make a drop in because customers do not know how to measure correctly or even know what a caliper is. He has been burned many times from wrong measurements. I've seen multiple cases of that exact scenario. Just because David likes to make sure the measurements are correct doesn't make his company shoddy.

Skar audio has a horrible reputation and the subs suck. Go with another brand please!Stop... I've personally have had good experiences with skar, the subs are decent. They are the same as any other china based audio company. Stay out of this thread.

It would reflect the sound differently. You can adjust the "sweet spot" by moving your port location.
