  1. Im not to sure about sundown amps, but i know alot of manufactures that their amps wont push there max unless they have 14.1 volts, but like above theres no way, you went from one extreme to another nearly doubling your power, and its quieter
  2. fi, SSD,Q,or BL , SSD 15 i payed 285 fully loaded, that was the old generation with out the neo mag, (just to give you an idea of a price on the SSD)
  3. logan, do it right and your doing my changing my 15, to a 18
  4. 4 JLw7 12's will break the banks for you, and they are a good driver i used to have one, but if your going like you said for big and loud, I say FI, FI has great SQ if the box is tuned right, and will hit nasty lows, besides the Q line is geared more toward SQ. JL w7's will hit the lows but not as loudly, but speaking your box is not tuned to either sub, your not really gonna know what kind of sound quality your gonna get untill you install it, and ya any audio shop is gonna press you to buy there product, dont they all at our local shop its all hail the super SOLOBARIC (plastic shit)
  5. lmao ya i just got an AQ and wondered the same thing about the backwards remote gain, but either way its a damn good amp i could never even get mine close to getting hot, my last garbage kicker ZX i had melted my carpet lol
  6. id get all the options besides the SPL option, i could not open the link of the web page you opened, since its sealed, just make sure the air space matches the requirements of the driver. also i would definitely look into a bigger amp. Its the FI Q is rated for 1000RMS, maybe an AQ1200 they are 250$ and you wont have to run the amp maxed out to get the desired output of your sub.
  7. bakedboy, you need to calm down, i had to wait to, it sucks. but i can promise your wait is worth the quality driver you will be getting in.
  8. AQ 1200 they are 250$, iv been running 1ohm and never could get it hot, besides kickers subsonic filter on there amps are not ajustable they just a have switch off or on
  9. id look into FI's lineup they have some pretty decent prices on there subs, and they are pretty good as far as SQ and SPL goes+great customer service FTW
  10. No the hell they wouldn't i dont know, iv heard some pretty damn good SQ from the BL line of drivers, but then again it all falls back upon, your build, enclosure, and what you tune it toward.....
  11. ya iv had some prbolems with stoping short and having it hit the back of my seat, ya in my crew cab i can take 2 seats out the back and leave 1 still to sit, its mad to fit perfect in there..... the reason why the port and sub is not aligned is because i had the thought of standing the box up verticallly and just taking the single seat out, and so the port had to be moved hard to explain why...... but ya i think i will be building a new box soon, and i will be keeping your ideas in mind for sure thanks for them......
  12. if they were all tuned right, and played diffrent tones or songs on each sub, the bl will proboly be the loudest... JL w7 is build more on the SQ side, iv had one its a very impressive driver, but it just dont have the output/loudness factor the BL would have, as for SQ the JL and BL would be pretty close, depends on the enclosure and tuning of it. as for that sony explod LMFAO
  13. bassahoulic- yes its tuned (superchip) and ya im takin the double seat out and puttin it on the floor.
  14. ya i mean im pretty good with doing those kinds of things, so if i wanted to get a kit i would just order a kit from FI for an 18 or its a special order i mean how do i get this recone kit i seen where you order it im just wondering if i order one for an 18 or its a special something i need?
  15. ya but iv never done a recone and was wondering if it was all that hard to do or not.
  16. i want to get louder but im on a budget, so someone told me that i could recone my 15" Fi SSD to an 18".... how hard is this to do or am i required to send it off and get it changed? Iv never done this before so all information and recommendations is helpful Also, what difference in loudness would i notice the box will be 6 cubes at 32Hz. in advance, Thanks
  17. its ok logan and andrew yall gonna be helpn me soon with my new box
  18. hu-pioneer 3200bt speakers-pioneer 4way, and tweeters in doors (looking for a nice component set) rear-FI SSD 15 4 cubes 32hz amp-AQ1200
  19. pioneer 3200/4200.... the 3200 you can find for only about 250-300 the 3200 blue tooth is about 350-400 sonicelectronix is the cheapest iv seen them without buying used... yes, you will need a relay to watch videos if your not in park, but if you the the experience you can just a put a store bought toggle switch on it (like i did) just watch youtube vids that show you how. it has a decent equalizer for custom settings, usb, aux in, touch screen is very accurate and sensative but for the $ i think the 3200bt i have now has the best quality for price i paid 320 for it
  20. agree, the two would have more output if you have the proper enclosure
  21. welcome
  22. logan ummm i supplied all the tools, you're welcome
  23. your looking for the mounting depth, as they said above, measurement from top to bottom (mainly the magnet) size and shape of the housing....
  24. looks big enough, for the two subs, even though your running the port toward or through the back seat, you might need some sound dampener, hope it come out nice
