How about a Phoenix Gold Tantrum? Not stable to 1 ohm, but does a solid 1200w at both 2 and 4 ohms, so it keeps the possibilities open as well.

it was wired in parallel, maybe 1-2 second bursts, with about 10 seconds between.. probably a total of 10 burps. Everytihng is mint other than the cone. Would probably wind up being about the same, just a different sound. How about a CVX? 1cf may be a bit small, but you could stuff it with polyfill to help a little. Would work great off of that power...
