  2. What basket will the trident use?
  3. Great prices on the glue. I might have to pick some up.
  4. SMH Ignorance is bliss.
  5. Now you can have both buss bars up top. It should be easier to work with. So how many banks does it total out to now?
  6. The formula used to calculate this rating uses the FS of the system as it's the point of greatest xmax. High pass filter is not a concern as cone movement is reduced with higher frequencies. Your referring to a Low pass filter. I am talking about a "subsonic" filter.
  7. Regarding the 1800watts/box rating. What frequency and what type of hpf?
  8. The spiders are stackable as the Ethos uses four however being a true progressive spider they have a conture that keeps them from sandwiching without effort. It takes a bit of compression to get them sandwiched tightly The baskets are prepped. They aren't ground down to the bare metal just as the top coat isn't ground down to the steel in a car to make it hold. It's just not needed. And if any glue joint did cone unglued it would be covered under the 3 year warranty. Thanks for the reply. But I meant can two soft spiders and one medium be stacked for example.
  9. Good prices. Are the different spiders stackable? And I have been wondering, do freshly built sub(like your ethos) have the basket surround and spider landings ground down? Or do they just glue to the basket finish?
  10. Were looking in Carrollton area. My office is in Irving and my wifes is in Plano. Were trying to find something in between. Nice. I eventually want to move to Richardson. Currently living in mesquite. I have some capz of my own. Not as much as you though. Have another 12 that I am going to build another battery type box for too.
  11. Awesome build so far. What part of dallas you moving to? I'd love to see this finished or maybe even help get it finished.
  12. I subscribed to this forum since your early days and get notifications every time you post a new thread. I am a regular on caco though. You have since got a section over there. But it seems as if you post stuff here but don't over there. It's like you got discouraged by the lack of interest over there and stopped posting. Keep at it! You got good stuff. If you build it they will come.
  13. I want a Magnetar and am willing to pay $500-550
  14. 12" but would also like to know the sizes of the 10 and 15 for future refrence.
  15. These are very interesting. What is the diameter of these dish caps? wondering if these will fit cones that have big surrounds.
  16. LOL thats how you keep track of orders. "The customer hasn't been bugging me so the order must of went out."
  17. Kyle from tc has said that b2 went to them to get some subs built. They built them protos and shipped them out to b2 and they stole the design.
  18. So you cut out the port opening with a router once the box is built? never seen it done like this before.

no i want a ferrari that performs and looks like a ferrari thats why i asked if they would offer dish style dust cap. Thats not asking much from a company that makes custom subwoofers. sorry wasn't knocking Kia owners

nice to know i wasn't the only one and you make a good point about fi being all about options Thanks for explaining why you don't. I just feel like the sub performs like a Ferrari and looks like a KIA.
  21. bknights replied to bknights's topic in General Fi
the havocs have the great fuctionality as the fi / AA subs and the looks to go along with a great performing sub.
  22. bknights replied to bknights's topic in General Fi
yes i know its suppose to look like that just not very nice to look at in my opinion. Now the havocs are beautiful
  23. bknights replied to bknights's topic in General Fi
i was talking about the cone material no being smooth, ruff
  24. bknights replied to bknights's topic in General Fi
i respect your opinions but no one is gonna say they don't like it when they own it. What do the havocs compare to in the fi line up?
