how should i place the sub and port? sub up port up, sub forward port up???

^^ that i did not know. now alls i need to do is sell the alt off my ranger and i can get the singer 250. the guy said he would hold the alt. for a week and a half. but after that, he is giving his mom the truck he has with the alternator to drive to NC for the winter so then the alt will be gone!!! if ANYONE needs a alt for a 3.0,4.0 ford v6, please lmk. im in need to sell FAST!!!

i found a mike singer 250amp alt. on CACO for 250 + my stock alt. what do u guys think? its amonth old and is still under warrenty

X2... do you use the same box size when inverting??? yes. but i think the sub is like 2"s to deep so a spacing ring is kindof outta the question. although my solo x 10 fit in just fine and there like 8"s deep

yeah. i may just use the box i already have. but i think the zcon has a mounting depth thats too much for the box. guess it wouldnt be ok to invert a new sub would it?

hmm. ok well power bastards is outta the question lol. any suggestions on a good alt. that will give me 2200-2300 watts for around $325?? i plan on getting $225 from my alt and i can save a hundred in a week or two

i was looking into them, but since hardly anyone ownes a zcon, i figured id stay with that choice..... also i noticed the sp4 and zcon motors look very simular.. atleast on the outside haha

He already has the sub ordered, either help him out or leave him be. 3-5ft^3 is a start, tuning will depend on goals and music preference. http://www.soundsolutionsaudio.com/index.php/product-information/zcon.html i may do a comp or two in the future. but as far as music preference, i listen to a lot of..... rap-65%,country-20% and rock-15% lol just to give you a idea. however, i have found that since i do not have any subs, i hardly listen to rap at all..... haha and should i lean more twords 3cf because i wil have the sub getting rms power, or will i be ok around 5??

hey guys, i know i have a thread already about this topic, but that was for my ranger. i now have a 2002 f150 ext. cab and my zcon is on its way so i want to start building a box. i took some measurements tonight and i have up to 6 cubes to play with here. i want ported obviously tuned to aorund 34Hz? i love my lows deep and loud haha. i will have it getting 2300 watts from my aq3500 and yes i have the electrical to back it up with no problem. now, how many cubes do you guys suggest i should go for with this kind of power, and the tuning i want? i will have the sub and port up unless told otherwise. let me know what you guys think!!

hey everyone, i am looking for a alternator for my 02' f150 5.4 v8. atleast 220amp output. i was at my local shop and he told me to check out power bastards alternators. i did and they have nothing but good reviews on them and there very good on price. my question is if anyone here has every used one before.. i really only have $325 to spend (and thats if and only if my alt. from my ranger ever sells..) i will have my AQ3500.1 running at 2 ohms (2600 watts) to a zcon 15 so i really only need around 2200 watts. i will have all 0 gauge wiring and as of now, no extra batteries. if anyone knows of a better deal on a alternator for the same amout of output or better. please lmk Thanks guys!

i know. iv been debating on weather to just run these 20's with street tires untill i save the cash for the tires, or take the 32's off my ranger and get the wheel adapters and run them... i cant decide!

hey thanks rick i have BIG plans for this truck... I see 3" lift and 33" tires with these 20" rims in the near future.. haha

**FINALLY** that was a typing error haha yupp, finally got my new truck. 2002 f150 lariat ext. cab. has a cold air intake,kmc 20" rims, blacked out tail lights, dual flowmaster exhaust with side exits and much more. i did a quick video of it today so i hope you all enjoy!
