  1. i just got word that my amp is toast. unrepairable. he said the board have fused together. he sent me a pic and it looks fucked big time. im going to pick her up tomorrow so i will take pics and post for those intrested...
  2. no i do. i just dont want all the bullshit thats coming along with most answers. but its my fault...
  3. This is EXACTLY why people get so frustrated with you. Not only do you have the record for the most this vs. that threads, you never listen to the advice! Everyone says go with the 9500's so you go with the x's, so what is the point?? PLEASE NO MORE REPLIES TO THIS THREAD. IM TIRED OF THE BS THAT COMES WIHT A SIMPLE QUESTION
  4. i mean its a simple question. idk y everyone is dragging this out. i guess im staying with the x's. PLEASE NO MORE REPLIES TO THIS THREAD. IM TIRED OF THE BS THAT COMES WIHT A SIMPLE QUESTION.
  5. Exactly what I thought when I read the thread title and author... Is say just pick something and run with it and make informed decisions from there. I personally would keep the solos because I know they will be worth more down the road but then again I don't have space for 15s do you think the price of the solos will go up becasuse of them being discontinued?
  6. nobodys forcing you to read my post..... if u dont want to hear/read about it, then dont click on it..... However, it is EXPECTED that your threads will follow the posting guidelines you agreed to when joining the site. This one does not. Make sure any new ones you make do. The links to what you agreed to are in my sig, time for you to re-read them. because i didnt "research"? iv done research on both subs. i can hear his 9500's whenever i want, BUT i dont have my solo x's installed to compair them too.... thats y i posted this. but hey, who am i to talk right?
  7. this is what i hope to someday achieve with my truck haha
  8. nobodys forcing you to read my post..... if u dont want to hear/read about it, then dont click on it.....
  9. Oh, I'm beginning to understand why people don't have much patience for you. If you had two 12" 9500's and loved them, why don't you think you would love the 15''s? They are only going to be probably louder. The cone area for three 12"s is almost exactly the same as two 15"s. So you like your music low and loud. It's safe to assume that if you put the two 15"s in a capable enclosure they will be louder than when you had the two 12"s. Why don't you listen to his 15''s and then make a decision? I understand you want opinions to make you feel more informed on the decision you're going to make, but you're one of the few people that have actually had both subs installed.... you're opinion is going to be stronger than mine who hasn't had experience with either. What size are your solo x's? If they are less than 15"s then I would take the 9500's. the solo x's are 10's.
  10. ^^^^ not a bad idea. i had 2 kicker cvr's and a brand new rockford amp stolen, and holes punched in my kicker comp 15's becasue of no alarm. but i have on now so i can rest in peace and not have to worrie about it anymore:) A CAR ALARM IS WELL WORTH THE MONEY!!
  11. thats the thing, i dont want to make the wrong decision here and be out either in cash, or volume in the long run. thats why i posted this... lol.
  12. low and loud haha like i said, i use to have 2 12" 9500's and loved them. my buddy had a pair of the 15's in a chrysler 300c and it litterally tore his trunk latch off. he had to have it re-welded on twice. i think either way i go, ill be happy.
  13. i was just asking if it one of those deals i shouldnt pass up. i never said i was doing it. i was just wondering what u guys thought about it.......
  14. like my title says. someone offered me 2 15" mtx 9500's in a nice ported box for just my 2 solo x's. I used to have 2 12" 9500's and loved them but had to seel due to my financial state haha. so what u all think? i only have 300 in the x's. is this one of those deals i should not pass up???? NEED OPINIONS HERE!!!
  15. hows ur power bill looking? haha
  16. i just recieved a offer for 2 sundown saz 1500's for 400shipped. what u all think? there not to pretty, but work 100%
  17. i did too....but now everyone including sonicelectronics are saying there 1500rms 3000peak. that 10's only. 12's are 2500rms
  18. I was betting to get around 1200 watts per 1500watt rms sub which isn't to bad I though. My electrical is a 220 ho alt. Two 1800 kinetic batts, and all 0 gauge wire
  19. there asking 500 which is a tad over my max spending. even at 450, its a little much for me. and i wont be purchasing a amp for atleast another month if not longer. I highly suggest saving your money until you can buy something worthwhile. Remember, you get what you pay for. $400 for 3k is hard to find unless you come across a killer deal in the Classifieds. ya. thats where i got the x's from. there are some hella good deals on there. my buddy might get this kicker zx1000 in a trade deal and he said he would sell it to me for $130 and its the newest version out so if that happens, ill just find another one. the do like 1400 watts so i think that should be good for each solo x. it all depends on what goes on with his stuff. How do you figure it does 1400 RMS? the birthsheets say 1460. so im guessing 1200 or 1300 watts to each
  20. i hav all 4 gauge now but im switching to 0 in the near future haha
