i know. a lot of people on this site wouldnt......... iv owned numerous kicker setups and they get LOUD. and some (cvx's and cvr's) have good SQ and get loud. but im getting a deal. $300fox's which new cost $470. i think thats pretty good

im putting the 1 15 in my 65' mustang on a kicker zr240 (oldschool) if someone dont buy it first. i didnt want to pay 338 for another 15. and im getting a hell of a deal on these x'shaha.

well my buddy bought the solo x 10's for 350 plus 75 shipping. he ran into major car troubles and asked if i wanted them for 300 no questions asked lol. im sure most of u know i totaled this chicks car a few days ago and have fines to pay SO i sat down with the parents and they agreed to lend me the cash for them ( thank god) i have to pay back $50 per week plus $10 a week intrest so its not all that bad. so i got the solo x's for $360. iv sold my mtx 1501d ( got it fixed) and am using the money from that for a 220 amp alternator. ill also be getting 2 optima yellow tops in the back.so now the big question... the subs are dual 1 ohm, so would i have to get 2 zx 1500.1's, or is there a way i could just run 1 zx2500?? ( only 2 ohm stble) ill have the power for either. I WANT TO STAY ALL KICKER ON THIS ONE. i know sundown amps are BA but i personally really like the kicker zx series amps. there very strong. i had 1 zx1500 on 2 mtx 9500's and it moved them pretty good. let me know what yall think fellas!!!!

they should still make the re-cone kits for them even if they are discontuinued. right????

i was on sonicelectronics.com and on there site it say the solo x has been discontinued. i had a 2011 kicker cvx 15 in its max. recommended ported enclosure with a kicker kx1200.1 and i heard in person 1 10" solo x that was louder. so if they do this, kicker isnt going to have a 18" woofer???????

ya. there 8/10 on condition. his amp is only 1 ohm stable and the guy said the subs read 1.5ohm each coil. will this work?

well the guy lives in missouri so theres no way for us to really hear them. i could ask for him to make a video of them first.

there the older model ones but he said 9/10 condition.

no he knows that when i come walking up to his door with my head down that somethings wrong. plus he seen me carying my amp so ya if u put 2 and 2 together ya. buttt thats just the icing on the cake for the day. i didnt get my paycheck from work and wont for a week, my amp blew, AND i totaled some chicks car with my truck. this day couldnt get worse.

so i was on my way home from my local audio shop and boom. my amp stopped playing and started blowing smoke. i only had my stero on 25 out of 60.it was a mtx 1501d elite. so before i even got to my driveway, i turned around and went right back to the audio shop. befor i even opened the door, he started laughing because he knew what happened. haha he told me come back in 3 days with $75 and itll be as good as new. just thought id share my story with yall **R.I.P. mtx 1501d elite series**

ya. i didnt know that lol. im used to kicker's subs whichare shinny copper coils.

ya. i didnt know that before. so when i seem them i thought something was seriously wrong Color of the coil isn't exactly a direct indication of it being abused or overpowered. I've seen coils come from the manufacture almost black to begin with. I assume different glues are different colors. ya.

this amp is the only powerful one i have. i have a kicker zr240 (oldschool) but i doubt it has the watts to really push it.

dude no lie, i thought that was the pic i took lol. ya that EXACTALLY how the coils on my 15 looks. Thanks for clearing this one up bromo :thanx:
