lantz's ranger build
whats goin on fellas. well im starting a build log for my ranger. im doing 2 15" IA flatlynes. i have a mtx 1501d to run them with which is 1800 watts. my plans are to do a sealed box walled off. i like the look of a wall, and i have room to spair. i cant find recommended enclosure sizes, so i was thinking 3CF sealed each????? idk... any suggestions?

funny u asked. i actually have one loading on youtube as we speak ( or type. depending on which way u look at it haha) i will post as soon as its done. should be 15 to 20 mins and itll be up lol awesome. my friend is looking into incriminator because he likes the brand but was worried its all sq. nice to hear that it isnt! ya. it does have AMAZING sq, but it gets hella loud. i myself was worried about it, but i hooked it up and all my worried were gone. its not as loud as my hcca, but its REALLY loud for a SQ oriented sub. tell him to go for it. im buying another 15 and walling 2 of them off in my ranger.

had my first exp. with IA today.....
like the title says. i had my first experience with IA today. i bought a IA flatlyne 15 in a 4.0CF box ported and wow. i was told it was a SQ sub but man does it get loud. i gave $170 for the sub and box. and so far, im extreamly happy with my purchase. iv never heard a sub that has the SQ of this. now it dont get as loud as my hcca, but this sub has both worlds (SQ and spl). now if i can find another dual 4ohm 15 for cheap ill do a wall in my ranger. i give 5 stars to the folks at IA for making such a great sub. only thing i can find wrong, is that it doesnt say what ohm the sub is on the back. the guy i bought it off of doesnt know anything about subs and told me he wasnt sure what ohm it was. only way to figure out what ohm it is, is to hook up a volt meter to each coil. but for those who dont own a volt meter, this may be a problem. other than that, great sub

IA flatlyne 15 for $150
well i just got back with the flatlyne and WOW. im very impressed with it. the box is every bit of 4Cf and the port is 3.5"s wide. it has AMAZING SQ and get half way loud. if i can find another flatlyne 15, ill keep these and make them my everyday system. thanks for all the help on this one fellas.

IA flatlyne 15 for $150

IA flatlyne 15 for $150
i have mine on 1800 watts and its laughing at it. on youtube, there plenty of videos that show hcca's taking 4000+ watts a piece. my hcca doesnt flex much and its hella loud. i wish i could afford a kicker zx2500.1 or something of that power to throw to my 1 12.

IA flatlyne 15 for $150
do u guys think 2 of these will get atleast decently loud? they will both be in 3cf ported boxes. each sub will be getting rms power

IA flatlyne 15 for $150
ya the more i think about it, i was sq.. tho the hcca (in my eyes) has great sq but is a tad on the spl side more. but if i had 2 of these 15's..... lol

This. Why anyone would base their decision off some video is beyond me, but whatever floats your boat. im not basing my purchas off videos...... im saying look at the flex of what 1 ssd can do. thats all man Pretty much any decent subwoofer on the market can do this. o ok

^this^ Damn near anything in the proper install should be loud as shit inside that tiny cabin. Honestly, your old pair of L7s could have gotten you very close to 150 db, if not over it. In those trucks, a pair of 15s, subs up port up on around 2k will have your truck flapping like you want and easily in the upper 40s. If you want an ugly monster of a box firing forward you ought to just wall it off properly. i dont have enough room between the back wall and the back of my seat for 15's. i have a max of 15 1/2"s of room there.
