  1. So my buddy had his system stolen and he gave me 2 recone kits for some 15" orion hcca d4 subs...since i got them for free i was wondering if there was a custom basket and motor i could use? Or what basket and motor would fit? Please help cuz i know these recone kits run around $150 so its a lucky break on my side
  2. Agreed. I wanted to do 10cu ft and use some aeroports but idk how to figure out what length and what size...how would i go about knowing?
  3. Good, two ohms is a much better option. Those box specs sound pretty good, you can even go a little bigger if you have the room. Just make sure to leave enough airspace for a nice big port. I have a 2008 yukon so i have enough room...i have a cutlist for a box off ramdesigns...it was 11cu ft at 33hz but it was for 4 15" rf p2's thats what i have right now so i could just remove the double baffle where my susbs go and just redo it with 2 15's
  4. Thanx guys i will do them at 2omhs...i got agreat deal on the amp so now i just need a good box..maybe 8cu ft at 34hz?
  5. So i bought 2 15" fi btl's off a friend and i was wondering if a rf t2500bdcp amp would be ok for both subs at .5ohms? I dont compete and i play mostly spanish music...my electrical consist of a 270a alt and 3 xs3200 batts...all 0/2 gauge wire...
  6. I love the fact that he went big cash on subs but went cheapy the cheapskate on the amps...does alphasonik still exist...flashback to 1995 when those amps were still garbage
  7. My bad bro...here we go http://losangeles.craigslist.org/lac/pts/2660964414.html
  8. Look at this link and tell me im not crazy and that he is insane...
  9. Im in the south central area..my buddy used to steal cars and he is still pretty connected ill ask him if he hears anything...not alot of people have sundown around LA so if they pop up somewhere they should stand out...
  10. I had my truck stolen a couple years ago...2 fi btl's and 2 rf t2500bd's and 3 xs3400 batts...i had my initials scratched on all my stuff...6 months later sum guy at a local shop was showing me his setup...all my stuff was in there...called the cops and showed them my invoice's plus i still had my police report...the basterd went down for grand theft...only perk was that when i showed up to pick up my stuff at the station they gave me his HU, a crap load of 0 gauge wire and a hifonics 4 ch amp
  11. Umm, no unrelated to your alt. Has to be related to a load and if you don't have one larger than that then you have a wiring problem which may be why your battery was dead in the first place. You are driving a fire hazard right now if your solution was a bigger fuse. Take it out and figure out the problem before you hurt yourself. It was the fuse btween my alt and the batt...i x2 checked my wirring is fine...i rewired my hid's and it wall works fine...
  12. Well i bought 2 new batteries and i figured out why my fuse melted...it was only a 100a fuse so it coulnt handle my alt...i bought a 300a fuse now so i should be ok...
  13. For my start up battery I always use a battery from Autozone or Walmart that has a good warranty. I've gone through a few batts just using the warranty and it is kind of nice to just bring it in and get a new one on the spot. If you want a better battery listen to 98GMC. Autozone has a good one for $125 so ill get that one...thanx a mill guys...
  14. I took off the battery and ran my multimeter and it says 9v so it looks like my batt is done...the blown fuse didnt alow for much charging so my batt died a slow deAth...how much is a good start up batt?
  15. I have big 3, 3 15" rf p2's at 2.67 ohms...and a hifonics bxi2010s amp...2000w rms but at 2.67ohms im only doing 800w...also hid fogs and headlights...35w kits
  16. Thanx bass...just to be safe ill take a trip to autozone tomorrow
  17. Truck on voltage says 14.4 Truck off voltmeter say "lo"
  18. Its stays at 14v but when its dead my stinger voltmeter says "lo"
  19. I used a 300amp fuse...i only have the stock batterie...
  20. But it starts when i get a jump...Its a 2008 yukon
  21. But it starts when i get a jump...Its a 2008 yukon
  22. But it starts when i get a jump...
  23. When i try to turn on my truck it crancks but then it doesnt go on.. I try again and it clicks...if i get a jump it starts and it shows normal voltage...i unplugged my system but it still keeps on doing it...plus i have the big 3 and the fuse from alt to batt melted...not blown just melted the casing...
  24. Sorry if i came with such a noob question...most of my systems were installed at shops but since my last truck burned to a crisp i figured ill do this myself...where can i get a diagram of how to hook up my batteries and how much can i power with that alt and 3 batts
