two 15s
I'm not lacking space by any means for a sealed enclosure for two 15's. Would deff have a shit box ported for two 15's. But ported one 15 would be decent. I was just wondering about peoples experience with them in sealed boxes. Thanks guys!! And lmao at guys with whole saw holes in their boxes. I've seen my fair share. My best friend bought a box with two 12's in it. it had a 4 inch hole cut on both sides. He thought it was nice for a while. Then i told him to seal the ends. He put cardboard and duct tape over the holes. Made a world of difference. Now he's gonna make a whole new box. lmao.

two 15s
I was just curious as to other people's results with a sealed box on higher power with a decent sized box. Mine would be around 5 cubes sealed. I dont really have the space for two 15's ported. Maybe one. if i decide that i dont really like the sealed set up. But I've also only got an aq 1200 for right now. So i'm quite limited on power. But we'll see how it works out. Thanks!!

two 15s
Pretty simple question. Anyone ever personally built and owned two 15s in a seales enclosure? Im gonna be doin It soon probably and was wondering what your results were. My box design Is around 5 cubes after displacements. They'll be two old style havoc 15s. And ill be running them on mg aq1200 until budget gets me a bigger amp or a diff box or set up. Thanks

Flexin out the Q
Those look fuckin sweet. lol. No lie. If i had no ssf on my amp i would buy those in a heartbeat. Took me a sec to realize that price was for a pair. Was like damn. gotta pay 60 bucks for an ssf on my amp. Damn. lol. But anyway. Got the ssf set correctly and my system tuned. No worries. The Q has no damage done. She still makes the bass like she's supposed to.

I'm sure if a 14k didn't have one there would sure be some much worse off subs than mine. Lol. She still lives and beats with zero problems.

Ohhhhhh. makes more sense now.

The Graph honestly doesnt make sense to me really. Like. the lower the frequency the higher the excursion. Get that. the higher the frequency lesser excursion. Makes sense. how does that relate to the port tuning?

Different goals ... And not ALL Stetsom amplifiers do not have a SSF setting on them... You can def do sealed using their amplifiers and require no SSF.... And honestly you shouldn't worry about that since YOUR setup will require it... Turn the SSF dial to about 30hz... I don't know your range on that AQ but if it is 10-50hz then I'd go just past middle @ 1-2 o'clock (I'm guessing here. don't have any experience with that amplifier) That's right around where i had it before. And Soon as Nick gets em built and ready i'll be switching my setup to two 12" havocs in a sealed box. So i'll be turnin the ssf back off. lol. But i'll get her turned back on sometime soon. I'm just chillin at home now. So she's not goin anywhere.

Ports tuned to like 33 hz. And why is it then that some stetsom amps have no Sub sonic then??

Found out recently that the Sub sonic isnt a necessary setting on High excursion subs. Turned mine off. Got a looooottt more power out of the lows now. And haven't had a single problem with heat or with bottoming out. Even playing Bass Mekanik lowd slowd. Heres some pics. And vids to come soon as they upload to youtube. I'll update soon as the vids upload and post them in here. Thanks for lookin guys!!
