yeah this is my malibu its walled till the end of the year and going back to a trunk system for regular daily driving, working on a huge system on the silverado,it would come out of the shadows this early december =)

my 270 was 399 shipped and my custom 320 was 599 shipped from mechman.com (i dont know if the prices went higher) especially for my custom one,i might send it in to get a regulator on it as well no vcm or mla for those cars, shiz is lame

i did some to hector el bambino- noche de travesura the beginning of the song has major lows but than the fast part on the song with guitar,whatever that crap thing is called lol makes my subs sounds like crap than same thing with Wisin & Yandel- Mayor Que Yo the beginning of the song (baby ranks part-intro)subs than the fast part,just sounds weird lol i did some to adan chalino when i didnt have the trunk sealed and my amps weren't oscilloscoped,also my front yellow top battery was completely dead, i was lucky enough to not fry my amps or alt,that would of sucked lol .also when i had my kinetik batteries in the back, here's the link and did some corridos hair tricks on the s10

POWER/ALTERNATOR: my old 270 mechman alternator It did 165 amps by 700 rpm engine speed, full output by 1800 rpm engine speed. THE CASING'S MOUNTING HOLES DIDN'T FIT =/ stock 160 alternator's measurements 270 mechman alt matthew logan from mechman was nice enough to modify one of my extra stock alternator that i had for the malibu,so it can be a direct fit for sure my new one it does over 300 amps by 1800 rpm, with over 170 amps at 700 rpm engine speed. they tested it in the dyno and it did 319 amps at 1800 rpm engine speed The most unique part about it, is the fan cooled, external rectifier.This takes all the heat produced by the rectifier, and mounts it remotely, away from the windings of the alternator.This way, the air is not pre-heated before it gets to the windings, so the windings stay cooler, cool down faster.Also, because the rectifier has constant air flow across it at all engine speeds, (courtesy of an electric fan inside the rectifier) it is almost impossible to overheat it.(overheating is a common problem on 300+ amp alternators) The bus bar on the rectifier makes it easy to hook up huge positive and negative cable runs to the battery(s) KINETIK HC2000s(UPGRADING) RIGHT LEFT
