BL question
How much do they weight, the weight for the 10" shipped from ups says the package is 32lbs, how much of that is the BL and how much is packaging? I am wondering because I planned on inverting my BL and I am hoping it wont be so heavy that it flips the box over. I am putting it in a 1.2 cuft box, I cant remember hox much it weights but it cant be more than 45 to 50 lbs. I plan on buying another BL, I am having a dual 10" box built for the 2 so I hope the combined weight of the 2 will not be too much for a 2 cuft MDF box to handle inverted.

Vladd, you were running an Orion 1200D at one point right?- Same guy, Different look.
What forum do I know you from??- Mach 5 15"
Mark, will we be able to send in a deposit like with the 18? I would love to have a 15" or 2 paid for before or by the time you get them. Or at least have a pair reserved, I have a feeling your subs are going to blow up and I mean that in a good way!- Mach 5 12"s ported test
Somebody do a dual MAW 10" ported test. I dont know which ones to order, the 12" or the 10" or wait on the 15". I am "supposed" to be having a box built for 2 ported 10's, and I already have a sealed box for 2 15's. I was wanting either the 10" or the 15" only because I have boxes for them in my garage already. I have 2 ported boxes for tens but they are tuned differently so I would likely need to wait on the other box to be built. Or like I said, wait on the 15", I hate waiting Great review, I too am amazed at the power you put to them. Were you planning on giving them that much when you got the 12's or did it just turn out that way?- Mach 5 15"
When you say 4 ohm nominal, this means the coils are dual 4 ohm right- Mach 5 15"
Hi Unit, You're right, there will be a 15" coming. Its a finish to the MAW line so it will be a dual 4 Ohm (nominal) vc and 500 watts RMS power handling. Here are the specs (from the manufacturer): MAW-15 Fs = 24.6Hz Re = 4 Ohm (both coils connected in series) Qms = 5.06 Qes = 0.35 Qts = 0.33 Rms = 7.2kg/s Cms = 0.18mm/N Mms = 236.7gr Bl = 20.4 SPL = 90.9 VAS = 190L Le = 2.41mH Xmax = 13mm These may vary a bit as I take my own measurements when I receive the order. I select a few units randomly, exercise the suspension and test them before posting the final numbers on the site. Best regards, Mark <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Thanks Mark, I cant wait until you get them in stock.- Mach 5 15"
I thought I read some where that Mark was going to have a 15" sub available in the future. If this is true, will it be DVC 4 ohm or will it be SVC 4 ohm? Whats the RMS going to be for it?- Also not a newb but I am new
Hello all, I am interested in the new Mach 5 subs and since they are reviewed here I decided to join. I am on various forums under the same user name, so hello to anyone I might already know and hello to those I dont. Thanks. - Same guy, Different look.
