  1. Leaving that area you find an overgrown cave entrance With a spider that jumps out and at you. Shot from the side just past him
  2. Another snake that swings around the corner
  3. Round the corner and your greeted by the drop down vine creature and his habitat
  4. In the 1st room with the casket, we made all those wall panels. Carved and treated foam. Then painted and aged them. The walls with the caskets sticking out, the skulls, and the other rock walls are vacumm formed panels. We did paint them and age them to our liking. A few pics from now will be a cave set. We carved and made those ourselves.
  5. Vines on the walls (set lighting was different so they looked better), and brush, camoflaged the drop panel
  6. The skull walls protruding in, taking up your space, and vines hitting you in the face
  7. Animatronic snake. Right behind the snake was an actor in a ghillie suit that matched the walls perfectly. NOONE knew he was there till it was too late. Thats when you already cursed.
  8. We had a swamp soundtrack playing through this area. The fog also had a swamp scent in it to make you feel like your in a swamp. Also had the floors lined with mulch. LOTS of mulch.
  9. Last of the cavern walls that lead you into the swamps
  10. These walls played tricks on your eyes. Looked as if they never ended when we had them lit up at night
  11. Yeah. I know. I bumped into his crew in St. Louis last year. Maybe get to meet him this coming and shoot the shit.
  12. Caskets sticking out of the cavern walls. Also has a sound track of cave bugs playing through this area.
  13. Also had an air blaster under the casket that got you as you exited the room. Exiting the back of the mausoleum to caverns
  14. A rotting corpse inside an opened plundered casket. We had a decaying body scent in the casket. It did not smell pretty.
  15. As you walk in there is a casket and a shrine set-up to The Baron
  16. The front. Also the entrance into the mausoleum.
  17. The graveyard you looked at while standing in line. Had a soundtrack playing and fog and lit up alittle with LEDs. This year the graveyard was minimal this year as we expanded the haunt and had to get more work done.
  18. Still considered a home haunt by definition. But we are trying to go pro. Only thing in our way is the right building. Anyways.... backgroud. This is built on the side and back yards of my buddies house. It had 1700 sqft covered and alittle over 400 sqat uncovered. Not counting the path out to the road. We have such a hard time finding actors that we use animatronics to help get the scares. I still wish we had more actors to rely on. We really needed about 20 and only had about 11 - 12 each night. Enough of that. Lets do pics. Gonna be ALOT of pics. Here is a pic of the walls going up. In this pic, you can see part of phase 1, none of phase 2, all of phase 4 and phase 3 isn't even built yet.
  19. Thanks for the kind words. These amps are painted.
  20. http://www.youtube.com/embed/49go7IHOQ5U I hate you guys for the building. One day, we plan on visiting PA for a haunt tour. Hope we get to meet you guys in action. Going to St. Louis this coming year?
  21. Hows that for an update? Got alot more pics to upload. More updates coming to this thread.
  22. The suede trim isn't secured here, but the pic shows the contrast.
