What do you mean? I thought gaskets were purely for cosmetic reasons on new subs. They don't actually serve a real function anymore, and I can't tell the difference between the gasket on my Q and my RL-p. So no one sells gaskets as replacements?
  2. I blew one of my mids (Cadence CWM-6). I'm pretty strapped with cash, so I'm either looking at getting a set of the PG RSd comps or getting a pair of MLI-65's and run those with the current Cadence crossover and tweeter. Not sure how that butchered combo will work though, the Cadence rep I contacted wasn't willing to share crossover specs so I have no idea what they are. Also, the Cadence tweeters are very bright for silk domes and I heard the MLI-65's have great midbass but their upper midrange performance isn't very pronounced, so they may not do too well with a bright tweeter. Any opinions?

You are correct, sir. I've always referred to it as a trim ring for some reason.

No, that's a trim ring spacer. I need the trim ring that goes around the basket, where you screw the sub in. Not sure if I was being clear in my original post or not.

Anyone know where I can buy a pair of trim rings for some 10" subs?
  6. Hey Steve, what are you running for a front stage in there?
  7. Are you deadset on the Type R's, and if so why? Kenwood makes nice amps, they're pretty cheap and reliable, and most that I've seen do close to rated power.
  8. That's because the 3500 is the only one with the problems. I did some research before I bought my 1500 and the problems they were having only affected the PCA3500D.
  9. Can't wait to see this complete, will there be a worklog?
  10. Hey, great job. I'm sure a lot of work went into designing that. Is wrapping a box with vinyl and harder than with carpet? Haven't seen any vinyl tutorials..
  11. $120 shipped is a pretty good price. I wouldn't build a 2.5 box for less than that. Just make sure you check out his portfolio (he should have one). And yea, def better than my first 'system' which consisted of 6.5 Pioneer REV coaxes running off a Panasonic HU. 22wrms of POWA!
  12. Hey guys, I e-mailed Nick and checked LowHZ but the BM's aren't on there yet, I thought these were going to be available as of last Saturday?
