You mean the hd4000 that's what I'm currently running on my fully loaded 12n2 very strong amp.

I'm also thinking of running this amp on my 18's n2 does it do rated @ 12volts

@///M5 the only reason I was considering a pair of 8 and a 10 is that the 8 are louder off axis than the 10. That's close up over 15 feet away then the 10 take over. So installing the 10 in the door aiming is important were the 8 are more forgiving. But tuning Is difficult that's why I've decided to go with the 10s. I just hope that those horn are gonna be able to keep up with those 10's.

I couldnt have described it better its the sparkle up high that I can't go with out and douth the horn could supply my needs.

ive never heared these horns before im sure tell sound good. would it not inprove the high end if i add a pair of morel c378 one in the door and one in the A pillars cross @ 10k hp.ill also be useing the clarion eqs to tune horn and tweets. im no longer using the eights gonna be a pair of tens sundown neo(crescendo c1100.4) and the tweets and full size horn(mmats sq4160) under the dash.

No I'm going with 4 10s bridge to the c1100.4 witch just pick up this morning. And the 8s will most likely be ran off an c1600.2. I'm also thinking of joining a pair of morel c378 to each horn.

Ok the amp I'll be using is the crescendo c1100.4. 300x4@2ohms for mids Channel 1-2 with one 8 and a 10. Channel 3-4 haven't decided. Tweeter amp is a mmats sq 175.4. How can I make this situation better with what I have. Goal number 1 is output and sq second

i guess to your stadards its not nessasery and sound bad but why have i seen so many builds with walled 4th ordered bandpasss. i live on an island and this forum all ive got just trying to be different. never heared a 4th order bp before other than 2 10in jensen sub in a prefab box with the plexi glass back in the 90s that sounded pretty good for a pair of 10's.

And for a car audio application is their any pro's.

Can someone please explain why it's a bad idea everyone always quick to say no but won't explain why. Im on SSA forum everyday for an hour or two and learned a lot but it would be much more interesting if people would just spread the knowledge.

@reelfish92 the rear seats will be taken out and replace by amp rack and batteries. subs will be fireing foward in the seal chamber right behind front seat and port facing up all the way in the rear level with window. I would like to try a wall one day but don't have the skill to build that.

On my little island we demo with all doors open with lots of pro audio mid in door. I've always have problems loosing the lows when rear doors are open so decide to try something new.
