My friend matt put a Vifa PL 6.5 in a transmission line box at 38 hz. Loudest 6.5 I have ever heard. It played well down to 30 hz. Sounded like a nice 8 or 10. He is building another t-line for the other 6.5. I can't wait to hear that. The pair cost him 30 bucks.

If I were you, I would invest some money in a better box. I had a box for my 12" XXX that was pretty bad, it had 9 sq inches of port. I hit a 137.7 on the old a/c. I then, redid the box, and made it 42 sq inches of port, and it hit a 137.7 on the new termlab. This was all in a convertible btw. That is a 6-10 db gain just from changing the box. Need box plans?

Well, cost is around $400, they are $450 on ebay with no warranty. If I can talk to some people and get it for cost, I will do that, if not, I will probably get one of the 2500D's from HCCAfan

If loud is all you are looking for, you can go cheap if you want. I have to have something that sounds awesome, I can't stand bad sounding bass. I also have space constraints, so 4 type r's wouldnt exactly work.

I can't find an amp to match my TT2250D, so I am looking for a VX2200 to match my VX3002. Anybody got the hook up? Oh yeah, if you want my TT2250D I am selling it for $325 shipped.

What kind of a box do you have yours in? Does it have a huge port? What is it tuned to? I am sure you have them beat in sound quality.

I hate cloth, it looks cheap and it stinks. I would go with straight leather, no suede. I am not a big fan of it.

I have never used a router in making boxes before... All you need is a table saw/circle saw, jigsaw, and drill. Or if you can find somebody to hook you up at home depot, you could get it done with just a jigsaw and a drill. just have everything ready when you go over there.

Black and red two tone. I think leatherseats replaces your cloth panels on the doors too. That would look sweet. Then do some kind of embroidery on the headrests in red. Maybe a mazda symbol...

I have a black car with black leather and it isn't that bad. It will be much better when I tint my windows. I say go for it. I always wanted a two tone leather seat package from leatherseats.com and I have seen some pictures of their work. It looks really nice. I think it would give a nice touch to your car. What style/color are you going for? I would buy it while it is on sale, definately.
