i hear ya, the 1800 dollar tv that was next to it, wasnt enoguh differnce for me to justify the samsung over it. When at CC, theres to many variables that don't make the playing field equal. not enough to justify me wanting to spend near double This is true. That is just dream TV.

Well, first time I saw 300 was on a 1990 DLP. So, after watching it on that TV, I was taken. Ive saw other 1080p TV's but My eyes love the Samsungs.

I seen that exact TV, playing 300 on Blueray with HDMI cables. ZOMG.

Are the plasmas that are being built today still have the problem of...well, dying? 3 grand on a TV and not having last a decade doesn't sit well with me. Yeah. I understand that. Lemme check and see if that TV Im talking about is a plasma or not, I think it is tho.

i dont do plasma, i play way to many games. and i have a denon/energy/definitive HT What does that have to do with plasma's? LCD is the problems with games. If your not running at 120hz. All plasma's do anyways.

If your gonna get one, get the 52" Samsung plasma 1080p25,000:1 contrast ratio. Its SEXY. $3500 MSRP tho.
