  1. With flatwind and full cool itll work just fine. Please let me know if I can help with anything else. Thanks, Scott
  2. What sub and whats your name? I believe we have 2 subs with no info on them right now. Thanks, Scott
  3. $6.50 shipped. Do you have Paypal?
  4. I like sealed If you are looking for the last bit of output out of things, then ported is the way to go... but sealed just does everything correct as far as Im concerned. Not too mention Im a wimp when it comes to bass...lol Thanks, Scott
  5. With anything that we could do to the SSD to make it deal with the power (flatwind and the BP option) you really still would be lacking in the linearity deparment for SQ behind the standard Q. Not too mention that the specs for the standard Q (Xmax aside) would still be the better bet. A "loaded" SSD is a daily pounder, not an SQ oriented driver. Not too mention that an SSD with the flatwind and BP option is now a $249 sub where the standard Q is $259. Thanks, Scott
  6. Should work well with that. (Assuming you are using 3/4" MDF for the box). Thanks, Scott
  7. Only have (6) 10s left and maybe (50) 12s at this point. Things picked back up the last couple of days for them... Im sure 10s will be gone today and 12s by early next week. Thanks, Scott
  8. Shavings? Ewwww. Yes we will clean it out. Ill let you know when it comes in and we will get rolling on it ASAP. Thanks, Scott
  9. Nick... man you let the running joke out of the bag there...lol Yeah I was trying to think of names for the sub and my 4 year old (I think he was 3 then) had wanted to help. He said that I should call it the Buzz Lightyear since it was his favorite at that point in time. So the BL it was. Rather fitting as it is about 2/3 of a BTL = BL and it is also a standard spec abbreviation. Much easier time with the acronyms for Fi than "names" for the Ascendant lineup. Im not a fan of names, but it is the standard convention that AA has used since the start, so Im sticking with it. Names get to sounding a little cheesey sometimes
  10. Whats your name? Sometimes hard for us to keep up with the forum to real name conversions from emails. Thanks, Scott
  11. Definitely want this one back to look at. I havent seen a spider joint failure like that on BL, so we want to see what is going on there. We will get it repaired and back out ASAP. Thanks, Scott
  12. Looks like the sub is set for a Monday delivery. Glad when you finally get it
  13. I will pull the customs sheet for it and call today to see if I can get an update on things. Normally 6-10 business days via USPS, but Im sure given the US/CAD ratio right now and the approaching holidays that they are backlogged more than normal. Sometimes I can get time based info from customs... Ill see. Thanks for your patience, Scott
  14. Horn? Thatll work But, I doubt I could recone it to anything worthwhile. Most of the Pro drivers like that have ultra tight gaps and super thing coils (often edge wound). We simply dont stock parts like that. Ill check around and see if I can find any info about them from some prosound friends. I might be able to source something, but we simply dont have anything like it. Thanks, Scott
  15. TC2+ has a 2" coil doesnt it? If thats the case then i think I have a 2" high Xmax coil that will work in it... Thanks, Scott
  16. Aaron, Need to get all of that info to you... sorry. Ill have one of my guys take some measurements tomorrow. As for the 8": Cut ID 7 1/4" OD 8 7/16" Depth 4 13/16" Thanks, Scott
  17. Yes we can recone them. We have all the correct parts except for the dustcap. We will send out a blank one, but if you are good, you can pull the original and reglue it. Im sure I still have some of those 18" baskets collecting dust somewhere on a pallet... havent used them for OEM in a while. Let me know your zip code and I can get you a shipped quote for it. Thanks, Scott
  18. Wouldnt have figured that given the coil and former size that it would heat up to that extent... Ill have to test with 70W of power to one on the bench and see what the thermal rise time is for it (Do it with DC as it would be a worst case scenario). Easier to test than pulling out the old thermo books...lol Thanks, Scott
  19. Way more than a sore subject... but its working itself out. As for business... doing well, very well in fact. As mentioned above I am focusing the company on dealers and so far they have been loving it. We have picked up 8 foreign distribs and are working with 3 more for their opening orders right now. Fi gets lots of dealer inquiries and I have simply been pushing dealers away from Fi (as things are direct only with little room for margins) towards AA. They like the products and pricing and have been happy with things. Im sure that when the site gets going that things will pick up even faster from there too... Stupid site
  20. Got the email and address. Ill change the next one to that. Thanks...
  21. Let me know your zip and I can get you a shipped quote for one. Thanks, Scott
  22. Fi Car Audio replied to Travo-18's topic in Fi Products
If we do... youll see it on the web when its available. We dont say much about what we are working on until its ready to ship. Im not one for months of spam and hype over products. Id rather it just pop up and be good to go.
  23. 30Hz will work. They also have an adjustable one with 4 or 5 settings (also with 30 Hz). Only issue with the Harrison as a stand alone is the shallow filter (12dB per octave). When used with some of the other amps with preset 28 and 25Hz filters (RF and Kicker) that are 12dB they work well as an eliptical filter. 2 Hz off from 32 to 30 will be good considering its 12 dB. Rather it be 24... but not the case. No one really seems to make a stand alone subsonic filter... easy enough to do, but nothing really out there.
  24. No call from them yet, but Im sure I will hear something tomorrow. Seemed rather odd to me, but Im glad they found out the real deal. Sub will be finished in a day or two and we will get it out to you. Thanks for dealing with UPS and their BS.
  25. After another site is squared away we will get the updates to the Fi site for apparell... shirts, stickers, hoodies, and thongs for some of you sickos requesting them... In the meantime if you have paypal shirts are $10 shipped for a S-XL and $12 for 2X and 3X. Payments can be made to [email protected]. Be sure to include size and shipping info. Current shirts are white with grey logos. Black when the site is up... Thanks, Scott
