I need a response from an FI Employee Please
Shawn had spoke with me last night about this... but it looks like it was delivered yesterday as well. Not sure why UPS didnt send you a tracker as we had it set for it, but at least its there

Shawn, Your Mids at WF?
I think they were rated at 75W RMS and they are all 4 Ohms. We have pushed production back on these for a little bit in favor of more sub lines... dealers would rather have that at this point in time. We most definitely will be producing more of them in the original flavor as well as a "car" sized basket with grills.

Tinsel Lead snapped in the middle
3-5 business days (plus return shipping time).

2xQ 15" questions
For standard Q15s we rate them at 1000W RMS. A 2000-2500W amp and the proper setup should work well on the pair. 100-120 liters for each sub works well when tuned to 32Hz.

Tensil Slap on Fi X 12's
Possibly. If youd like me to send some out I gladly will. Whats the enclosure and amp set up like? Ported or sealed?

Tinsel Lead snapped in the middle
Send it on in and we will repair and send back for free (if its a failure under normal circumstances and not abuse or over excursion). Please send it on in to: Fi Car Audio 5480 Cameron St #107 Las Vegas NV 89118 Please be sure to include your name, address, email, and phone number with it on a sheet of paper. Thanks, Scott

broken tinsel lead on 15" btl
Wire on its way to you George. Does look like lots of current given the discoloration on things. Next issue is that it looks like it might have been reconed by someone else do you know its history? Leads dont look to be set with the right length or angles to them (we use a gauge for them). Lots of solder wick up the lead hardens it and creates a weak point... angle is way off to the sides to. New leads on some drivers for end of the year too. When you get it in let me know if you need help swapping them out. Thanks, Scott

electrical strain
Yep, need an alt to keep up with current demands and keep voltage from dropping. Even multiple batts wont help for long if they dont have a source to keep them charged up... they will eventually die to and you will be in the same boat for extended runs. Not good for anything in the car to have voltage swing and that much drop.

need new amp??
Ive got the Kicker in one of my vehicles and like it on a pair of SSD10s. Only issue with that amp is that the subsonic is preset to 25Hz and a shallow 12 dB/Octave. This is an issue if you are using a normal daily tuning in a ported setup (no issue to me since this ones sealed) Kicker is decently efficient, not sure about the other. Current draw for either amp isnt based off of the loads the amps are optimized for, but the output power at that load and the efficiency of the amp. You can have an 8 Ohm optimal amp that makes 2000W and is just as efficient as a 1 Ohm optimized 2000W amp... its 2000W/ 12 volts or whatever its running at/ %efficiency = current draw

Fi sub wieght.
Brian is right at driver weight, and shipping weight comes in 8-13 lbs more depending on size of the BTLs. BLs range from 33-40 ship weight.

Q 18 D1 w/BP
Very cool. Keep us posted Thanks for the order.

Proper power for a fully loaded BTL
Like Nick mentioned, we tend to stick close to RMS ratings on things. With a fully loaded BTL Id say 2500. And yes, most use more than that... but things need to definitely be dialed properly as well. BTL 18 will work in that space, although most seem to choke them down smaller than that (mostly because the BTL will push on through with its linearity and motor strength in smaller enclosures allowing you to stuff 18s where usually only a 15 would work). Brian... email sent.

thanks scott
Thank you for repping Fi at Finals Looking forward to the next setup... lets hope the magic pixie dust that seems to be in it works its way over to yours

10 inch ssd or 12 inch w3
Second the 12" $10 more and a fair amount more output for little extra space.

shipping question...
Sorry about the emails... we are trying to get caught back up (hence the late hour right now...) Yes we do ship to PR. Usually via USPS as it is significantly less in most instances than UPS, FedEx, or DHL.

ATTN: Scott or anyone from Fi
Wading through the emails... once we are away for a few days they back up fast Yes we can recone it to an 18". But... its not completely useful as one. The qts goes way up. We do have a new cone that is lighter and would work better keeping things a little more realistic spec wise. Up until now, I really havent done many as I dont find the specs worth it. I will sim the specs and see if it will make a useful sub with that cone over the weekend. Thanks, Scott

15 Q Just ordered
Thanks for the order. I am processing it right now. We will get started on it this morning and we will get it out to you ASAP. You should receive an email from UPS (Quantum view) shortly with your tracking info. Please be advised that the initial delivery date is based off of the processing date and not the actual pick up date. It will be rescheduled automatically once UPS picks up the sub. Thanks, Scott
