Plenty of people manning the fort, but I really didnt have an easy way of getting to emails for orders (and I dont allow others at the shop to take care of the email/order side of things with customers). Looking over the build log, your sub is done, and will ship on Monday. I was unable to "update" the build log remotely due to security measures with our processor. Sure... I can tweak things even a little further along in that direction as well. But for most IB apps... displacement is king. Shoehorn as large of subs as you can in there... I had a pair of 15s in an Accord IB for my wife a few years back. Sounded clean and played decently loud for having 95% of the trunk useable. Thanks, Scott

While I normally would agree... finding (or fitting) a single mid/midbass that can keep up with the sub section he is thinking about simply isnt going to happen. A pair of mids usually isnt much of an issue if on the same plane and close together. I cant think of any install I have done where it has been an issue, but I could see where it would/could be. I am finding more and more people that are foregoing a spot on sound stage for more output. It is tougher to get them both. At that point having good clean sound Id say for this install is more important than a razor sharp sound stage. This is one output oriented.

A wee bit pricey with the Rainbows. Im fond of the AA 6.5 mids, but we wont have more of those to go around for a little while. For the money, they simply cant be beat. I use them in just about everything. I really like Kickers ss30 tweeters. They are some of the nicest I have heard and used in a while. It seems that the good old Vifa car tweeter is now discontinued... Seas got rid of their good one this year as well...

Manilla folder is the standard... add tape in even layers at multiple points if it is too thin. Either electrical or scotch. Cheap and easy. Get it snug, but not so that you have to really push on it to get it in... or often it wont want to come back out.

Ill be heading out of town for a few days on business. Ill try to keep an eye on things and post up all the names and orders we have when I get back. This way everyone can check to make sure they are on it and that the size and any notes is correct. Wow... I forgot about that fiasco. But it didnt seem to hurt the Mags reputation at all. Did open a few eyes to how the game works in many magazines though. We shall see what happens I know that with Nicks picture in CAandE that the women kicking down his doors to ravage him tripled. Might bring a sale or two...

Yeah, tears streaming down your face like you were just kicked in the b@lls and maced is "fun" lol. Im really not sure why we offer to recone others products, there is VERY little $$$ to be made in it and Ill be d@mned if I hate the smell of burning CA. I think its more of a "service" to the audio community than anything else. I know Pol hates cleaning them... especially when he has to wear the pink swim goggles (Thanks Shawn and Pops for those )

Like others have mentioned... a single Q10 ported, or a pair of the SSD10s sealed. I run the SSD10s (standard version at that) sealed in one of my setups and think that they blend well with my front stage and have plenty of kick and extension to them for a nice balanced setup. SPL... not hardly, but they definitely get things shaking when I turn the knob from normal position (set at about 3 of 10) on up to 10... or 11 as Friday drives home from work permit 9" of depth isnt too much of an issue... but what are the overall dims of the setup? Ummm... CA grind fumes and smoke are nasty things. Theyll make your eyes water up instantly and the smoke is simply AWFUL to inhale. Next time please use a mask. We do as well as some swim goggles as they are sealed and are the only things we have found to keep the fumes out. That stuff doesnt play around when cleaning it up with a grinder or flap wheel.
