  1. Thanks( I am bridging the amp to the sub) Have used y-splitters but it seemed to have some small pop sound in between play, once i remove the y-splitters it seemed ok. H701 does not have subsonic filter, I am running sealed. wrong, the h701 does have a SSF. just set a HP on the subout to 25hz, poof SSF.
  2. I was more looking at the motor assembley and the cones, very close. the basket could be made into any shape they wanted. I will take your word for it. was just an observation.
  3. just curious if IA makes them or not. no need to be hostile.
  4. is it just me or do these look ALOT like IA woofers?
  5. also, consider if you are measuring the speaker with the speaker wires in the amp, you are also reading amplifier resistance. that is going to change the readings alot and honestly, will make them completely meaningless. you have to measure the speaker without connecting it to the amplifier.
  6. straight off of IAs site. you might be thinking death penealty
  7. both of these look like great subs, both are listed as SQ subs. the biggest difference I can see is power handling. both cost about the same, so that is not a big issue. I will have a memphis audio 1100.1 (1100W x1 @ 1ohm) my guess is that the flatlyne will be a little over worked with that power level. but from a pure SQ aspect, which is better? open to everyones thoughts.
