  2. im pretty sure it was either a ground issue or one of the wires slipped out. i just took everything out and unplugged it and put it back together and it works perfect now. now i just need to figure out how to wire my halos up.
  3. good looking on the info. i was able to get them to work perfect now its just adjust the beams to make them correct. but another question? what is the best way to wire up the halo's to work. im kinda a noob on doing things like this so any help will be awesome.
  4. Bet. I AM A check everything when I get off. Iffuses arent theproblem then I guess it would be the ballasts, bulb or relay wires?
  5. ight Im going check all this when i get off work tomorrow. do u think the relay could go bad in less than half a day of use. cus i just installed them earlier today a 2pm. it was raining and dark out all day so i had them on and they were fine. im going to disconnect and reconnect everything when i get back tomorrow. if it is low voltage do i need a bigger battery or what?
  6. ya i already got one on it to the battery. thats why im stumped as to why they would work earlier today but then not work at all tonight
  7. ya its in pretty open space. not sure if the ballasts have inline fuse and not sure of the circuit breakers. even if they were working fine earlier but now they seem to not work? what would be problem
  8. what would be the best solution. could it be the bulbs or ballasts? or would they not even work at first if it was. because they were working earlier today
  9. they are mounted close to the back of the head lights. i was able to mount them to a metal bar that had holes in it to secure them easily. how do i fix the power situation? would low wattage mean they wont even turn on now? because they were working fine earlier today but then like 30 mins ago went to the store and started flickering and now they wont turn on
  10. hey so i just installed my new headlights on my car and got a HID conversion kit. i hooked everything up correctly (lights, relay, capacitors, etc) but now im having problems. i went to drive to the store and they started to flicker even with the capacitors on. they were working fine earlier today when i installed them around 2pm. but now when i got back from the store they flickered. i got home went inside to get some tools and came back out to try and see whats up but now they wont even turn on. any ideas to why they are not working now.
  11. good looking. is that someone on here?

  15. thanks everybody for the help. i went with moth balls for now and seem to do the job pretty good. they do smell pretty bad so i see why they would work.
  16. i park either in my driveway or right out front on the street. dont have a garage
  17. i think they said it was by or under the battery. i gotta check the paperwork again to see exactly where they were chewing
  18. ya it sucks and im glad i got that second opinion. saved me $2500. but do you think if i got like pest control to spray around the car or something like that it would keep them away. i just dont know what to do
  19. Hey guys, well last time i made the thread about how i was having car problems and the mechanic said it might be transmission problems. i went and got a second opinion and what was happening was rodents had gotten underneath my car, and i guess thew started to chew through some of the wires. i need help on how to stop this from happening. I dont live anywhere out of the ordinary so it weird that it just happened to my car. anybody know of anything to keep i guess squirrels or rats, mice away from car so they wont chew through wires. thanks guys
  20. the not being able to start up wasnt the big problem because that seemed to stop. the main problem was it was jerking or slipping when i accelerated and the check engine light was on.
  21. well it got checked out today at my shop and i need a new transmission. alllllllll bad
  22. thanks guys. y aim taking it in right now and they are gunna call me to let me know whats going on. im just hoping its not a tranny problem
  23. Thanks its a 2002 toyota camry
  24. ya ill check my fluid and see. and no it seems fine going up inclines. if it is transmission does that happen out of nowhere because now the check engine light is on and it seems too not want to start as quick. everything was fine this morning
