My understanding was that the IXL's were going to be released in only the 18" version right now. And there is a good chance that there maybe other sizes offerd at a later time. The way I see it........the IXL's offer the potential for better output, better power handling and knowing mark they should be a well balanced driver. This will be a nice addition to the Mach5 line up. Now I just need to coax some different vc configs out of him...LOL

For that price buy em and find out! Whats the worst that happens, you have some fun and smoke some drivers. Oh and I think the Nine.1 is closer to 1500rms @ 13.8v.

Cost was an issue. And seeing as I already had a box it was kind of a no brainer. In the past he had a 12" Alpine Type S and a 12" CVR but was never happy. But now he is.

I orderd a pair of $100 drivers from the US and ended up paying $89 in dutys and taxes. wait a minute...that's just wrong. i mean it's for your own use, not for resale. stupid customs Yep thats why from now on I support the local guy!

After my brother came to me wanting a new sub for his 84 S-10 after his ex-wife stole and sold his old one on him. I imediatelly recommended the MAW-15. Well today we installed it in an old 2 cubic foot prefab box I had kicking around the house and hooked it up to his Alpine MRP-M350 which is rated at 350rms @ 2ohm. With the size of the box and seeing as its only an extended cab, the MAW sits only 2" behind the front seats facing forward. And I have to say.......having never driven a car where I bascially sat near the sub, or even having a hatch or fold down rear seat for that matter. I was truely impressed yet again at the musicality and overall output of this driver. My brother hasnt stoped smiling since!!! Thanks Mark! Now my brother is finally off my ass!! :) :)

I've never had a trouble with eD. And I am a mutiple time customer. I am curently enjoying their woofers in my car. But with that being said, I cant stand that frickin woofer! It just rubs me the wrong way!

Some amps are fused internally. My PG ti600.2 is like that. There is no external fuse.

I see no problem placing a maw 15 in 2-2.5 cubes sealed. I had my pair in 3 cubes total and I liked it. But a bit more space would have probably made a big difference. But to be honest a ported 12" RLP will be pretty close to the output of a sealed Maw 15.
