I hope not... 3x the wait time then quoted is bad news. I totaly understand that it takes a long time to make subs, and with Fi becoming more popular, im sure they are backed up. As far as i'm concerned, he could smooth things over by shipping my t-shirt and stickers with the sub, and I would promise a review, you know I would be good for it.

Kinda getting worried, can Scott or Nick at least clarify that they are running a little late on it. I just want to make sure it was not left behind or lost when it got mailed, as UPS still only says "billing information recieved".

As long as its not touching the port it is fine. If you have the space, why not use it. I was limited, I wanted to keep it under the windowline (15), and not too wide, so I could fit my hockey goalie bag in the back still.

Yea, 5+ days so far for my SSD rated at 2-3... we will see what happens.

Everything looks pretty good, not too sure why your having problems. I know its cool to do certain tricks, but if it sounds good, not realy a big deal.

Yea, the outer dimmensions on the sub are 15.75 or something like that, and there is at least 16.5 on every side, so you should be fine. My hole is right up against the port, about 1/8 of an inch off of it, so make sure you leave yourself enough room when you make the sub cut out. What kind of box? That may have a lot to do with it...

Hey guys, I thought it would be a good idea if we could have a place to check the status on our subs upon request. With the new contest, I thought it would be a great addition to the board. The UPS tracking number is one way to check, but when your in my situation, about 4+ days for an SSD, I think it would be nice to know how your sub is doing, and when it will ship out. I know the guys at Fi are busy, and although this would be a great addition to the forum, they have the final call if this thread is a go. So I will start. Please include your name, e-mail, day payment was recieved, and type of subwoofer.

Great idea guys! Once I have my sub, I will be writing a 3 page review! I want that $250 in credit, and the shirts+stickers sound cool too . You have any pictures of the shirts, becides in the "my eye just poped out" video?

Wow, I have been saying eff eye ever since I saw them. I will admit, figh does sound cooler! Going to have to start.

I don't think the people that order subs realy understand all the hard work and time that goes into them. I have not ever built one, but I believe it would be very time consuming. Only a 2-5 day wait for a custom sub is pretty amazing. Just wanted to say great job guys, and keep up the good work. (if you want to work on my sub a little more than others it would be great) ...Only kididng . Good Job Scott, Nick, Shawn, and all the guys at Fi.

Yea sure no problem, but if you gave me your e-mail it may help . Also what do you want the outer dimmensions to be? And do you know if you want it to be loud, (tuned high), or lower,deep, to rattle stuff (tuned low). Let me know, and I will definately help you out.

Mods, if you want to put this thread under the SSD enclosure recomendations, it would be fine, and hopefully stop people from posting so many "what enclosure to build" threads. KO

Yea, a nice clean box, what more can I ask for? I am very happy with it, now Scott just needs to make/ship out my sub!!! Cant wait untill I recieve it, and start bumping!

An a8002v for now, I know its not the best amp, but it will work untill I get enough money to upgrade, probly in the summer.
