I know I should of got dual 1s but I didn't know at the time. And I'm leaning towards the crescendo 3k because Ive gotten the most response about that from other people as well. But the problem for me is finding one. I've been out of power at my house for 9 days and I've been using my iPhone so my searching is limited. I know crescendo has a gold amp on their website but its confusing.

Ok. I will give as much info as I can. I have $600 for a new amp. I have 2 FI Q 15s dual 2s in an 8 cube box at 33hz walled. It's a daily setup. Right now I have 2 older hifonics Amps and I'm running them at 4 ohms. So right now I have about a 500 watt system. What amp will be the best bang for my buck thats around 3000 watts? And how much of a difference will a new good amp make compared to the 2 hifonics Amps I have now?

Hey hes right about it "leaking" sound, sometime I have to close the windows in my house because the sound of the tv goes down significantly to where I almost cant hear it because all the sound leaks out, then I have to go spray the sound off the cement with the hose...

Ok I have last years model FI Q 15, and I have the new model and they both have the same options, P chamber, extra spider. They are in a shared chamber box, 8.2 cubes at 33hz. The new one with the black basket has had 3 weeks playing and its loosened up a little BUT my questions are; 1. Can I have both these subs in a shared chamber or should I do separate chambers? 2. Does those plastic spacers on the top plate of the magnet so space it down really help with cooling? Because they both have amps for them and the amps are the exact same in every way but the new model stays cold and the old model gets warm after a while. 3. A, Why does the newer sub have more excursion at higher tones than the the old model? (like the new one is flexing 20mm and the old model is flexing like 8mm) 3. B, But the new sub flexes less at lower tones compared the old model? Does it just need to loosen up some more? And yes I know my box only has a 1 layer baffle, but I ran out of money for MDF for the second layer, but that was a like a week ago, its braced now with 2 thick threaded rods and its solid. Ya but I gotta a good deal on mdf wood. It was lime half price so I got mdf. I need to get another peice and double baffle it once I'm all done.

Just standing up the side, its up a little higher because its sitting on wood, and it will go back a few inches also, just put it up to see what it will look like Rounded edge for port, I rounded the egde that makes the 90 angle, once the box is complete Ill round the port opening

haha Yeah, only problem is I detail cars and now thats its raining, no one needs their cars washed and detailed, all the nice cars are in the garage for the winter, and I only have $250 so I talked to my parents and they said "ya we will give you the $100" and I said "Sweet" then they said "But you got to wait till christmas" then im thinking "damn it, sh*t, I need it now!!" I might get it earlier, IDK. at least ill have everything done. I just need to build the box, cut pieces to seal it off, mount my 6x9s on the sides, wrap it in suede or speaker carpet, hook up amp, I need to order the gain cable for a hifonics bass knob so I can connect the two amps off the one controller, theres the in and out for the gain cable. I guess ill just find out when its all installed. I might possible be getting my window tinted this week if my mom pays for it, im still a "kid" to her and im trying to get her to "reward" me with good grades. lol. Im so close to cracking her, the mom game can sometimes be hard. Hopefully I wont get a bunch of crap for saying that. I also have a story to tell that I forgot to mention. The other day I was driving back to school playing my music at my normal listening when im not blasting the bass which is still loud but not full potential of my system. I had my windows to my (I call it cabin tuning, lvl 1, 2, 3, 4) tuning 2 which is both front windows open until it lines up in the front bottom corner of the window frame which makes the window about 2-3 open. lvl 1 is closed, lvl 3 is wide open, lvl 4 is all 4 windows open + sunroof. Anyway I was driving back playing Jeezy Hyptonize and I passed some cops, I saw them pull out of where they where and follow me, I pulled into my high school and parked, I saw them pull into the high school about a minute after I parked so I started fiddling with my visor and they where driving around slowly, looking for me (I figured it was me because of my bass), it was 2 cop cars and a motorcycle cop, once they found me they parked in front of me so I couldn't leave and I was like "shit im going to be grounded by my parents" then the officer is like I could hear you coming" and I said from where and he said "we heard your bass then we saw you round the corner way down at the end of the road" I said "wow I didn't know my system was that loud" and he gave me warning but all the kids in the parking lot are WTF is going on LOL. I know my bass isnt super amazing right now, but its the best in my town so they aren't used to it. Ill make some video of what I have now and post them for you tomorrow maybe.

Thats a pretty sweet set up, once you completely seal it off and get some material on it, it will be even more sweet

Ok so this might be a dumb question but I researched it and nothing really came up. Are ported walls loud in the cabin? Because I put my sub in my sealed box I have no in my cabin and it sucked, there was like no bass, I tried it facing up, forwards, sideways. Will my wall be loud in the cabin because its ported, I would think so because peoples walls on youtube make people poop their pants.

That step is never ending... Oh I know, I have car and I put bump in the trunk then Im walling it off then im like damn I need a tahoe so I can put 18s in it! This is the build log ive always wanted, a HUGE system with room for 5 people still in the vehicle.

Call all my friends and show it to them 11. go to sleep 12. wake up and think of the next system Its a simple lifestyle

I did tint my side windows myself and there are some bubbles, not to bad, you can only notice them if your right next to the car. Getting my back windows tinted is $60, I have the money for the sub, but im not taking money out of that (now that I realize it, why haven't I ordered the sub?), I have $30 cash right now. I detail cars for money and I have to to a interior today and an exterior for a truck next week, ill have around $120. So my build should get back up and running.

Update: I got all the pieces I needed to round the edges on done. All the pieces for the box are done. I still need to wire the amp (I will do that once the box is built) and I still need to build the box. BUUTTTTTTTTT I cant do that until I get my back window tinted and Its not in my budget at this time so im still waiting on that. Sorry for keeping you guys waiting, once the window is tinted progress will pick back up.
